We have found over time that there are places which can be slightly cheaper but it comes at the expense of quality. The timber is properly dried and doesn't twist and warp like the cheaper stuff. The staff and delivery drivers are very helpful and deliveries are made on time with HIAB lorries. As a construction company turning over circa £2 million a year they are our first port of call for timber, staircases and roofs.

Went here for a kitchen design planning appointment at Howarth in Mansfield. Showroom is very nice with good examples of units/ appliances. All staff were very friendly but Diane the showroom Manager was brilliant. Her design suggestions were excellent and the units were good value for money. Friendly and professional service. Highly recommended. Do not waste your time with B&Q / Wickes. There is no comparison on service and product quality.

Website says they stock both soft and hardwood so I made a 40 minute car journey because there window boards were 25mm thick just to be told they don’t stock hardwood when it is clearly stated that they do. I then used google again and found Ron curries what a delight they have everything you could ever want. Thanks google.

Not very well customer service ! The bloke was very rude when my friend was asking for sleepers for a shed they explained the item was out of stock which is fair enough, but he then put phone down without a warning & my friend wasn't finished.
