Challenging one way system to navigate just to get onto car park and store looks unattractive from the outside. Standard array of DIY products available but difficult to know where things are and prices seem a little higher than competitors.

Wickes is generally a good place to find most things DIY related and usually at fair prices. I ordered some lights online for click and collect along with an electrical socket, showed in stock. I had a call the next day saying they couldn't find any of the products I ordered and that they searched the whole shop so they cancelled the order. Checked a few days later online and it still showed stock was available in store. So went in store myself to check, wasn't any on the shelf so asked one of the staff who checked the shelf again, then said he would check out back and surprise surprise he found them. So they actually had everything in stock and cost me an extra trip there. Also the price on the shelf showed the socket was on offer but when scanned at the counter said this wasn't the case. Staff don't really seem to care that much.

Went to the Redditch store today to pick something up no problem . However I had a Walk around the store and noticed that the shelves were empty. When I approached a member of staff regarding the next shipment of pine cladding , dunno was the answer and he told me they have a delivery every Friday I then asked if he knew if cladding was coming again the dunno reply and he said we don't know what's coming on the deliveries !!!
What a way to run a business !!!

Was so disappointed! Went into store today looking to purchase my laminate flooring, asked for a member of staff to help me as I wanted a quote, then I was told to go down there and find somebody to help with pointed finger! Wow wasn't expecting that poor customer service!!! No communication at all. I walked out went to B&Q and what a difference ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars for B&Q, its amazing thankyou for helping me purchase and price up my floor looks beautiful 😁👏well done whoop!!!!!

Usually our go to DIY store but didn’t appreciate the passive aggressive voicemail left by someone at this store just because I’d left my click and collect order for 2 days before collecting it. No other retailer seems to have a problem with this. Will probably order from elsewhere in the future.

Just had a new bathroom installation by Wickes of Redditch.
A brilliant job all round. Professionally completed by the contractor, Brian, who was methodical and conscientious, with meticulous eye for detail.
Totally delighted with the result, and would recommend without hesitation🌞🙋‍♂️

I had bought 20 packs of laminate to do my house. I needed one more piece of laminate. I went into the store to buy an open pack. There were several open packs with pieces missing. I asked if I could buy a single piece from the open damaged packed. The lady said no that is not possible. We do that at the end of the night. There are three of us tonight and we will do it.
I went in today and they said this was not possible. I said the packs are open and damaged.
I was told normally they have pieces in the charitable section and I went to have a look and they did.
So I picked up one piece and went to the counter. I was asked by the same person where did I get it from as if I was lying. I said it was the charitable section. He said show me. I then had to walk all the way to show him the two open boxes there and showed him one underneath.
He said okay that's fine. I said please make sure you tell the counter. When I got to the counter I said this is from the charitable section the lady said that's not right. She then checked with her colleague again as if I was lying. She said okay and I paid her.
I'd like to say I am not a thief and I was treated in a disgusting manner. Are we not supposed to reduce waste? Why buy a whole pack when all you need is one piece? Then to treat a customer of over 25 years like this. It is not right.
