Good service excellent range of merchandise in the store. Prices on some things are a bit high and materials can be sourced cheaper online as with anything but if you want to pick it up there and then definetely shop here.

This is the closet shop. People who ever shops WICKES in Staines make sure check your bills before leave from store. Misleading price from LABEL to the system. Incorrect prices
I bought two grey adhesive from Wickes in Staines and found the price on the label is stating as £9 where the system is telling to the cashier as £13. The cashier is adamant the price is correct. Therefore, I have to go and take a screen shot of the label (Tag Price on the self) on the self and prove the price is wrong. The Staffs, Cashier or Manager who came to check the price

Very much as other reviewers have pointed out. Absolutely terrible customer service here. They are so inflexible and will robustly stick to their policies, leaving you out of pocket. If you are even a day over their 30 day refund policy, they will refuse a refund and try to blame you by saying ‘we said don’t buy materials until you have a contractor’. It’s just poor and leaves a bitter taste in the customers mouth. I will never use this store or Wickes again. Read the poor reviews here. It is really that bad. Don’t waste your time or money. Avoid.

Not the biggest store, but it's quiet - even at the weekend. Reasonable amount of parking outside, which is free. You'll get most of the stuff you need but I'm (personally) not convinced by Wickes quality.
There is a Toolstation / Screwfix (one or the other) in the same complex. A few minutes drive is a Homebase too.

The till lady is asking for donations almost like begging making customers to feel uncomfortable if they don’t donate. Also very lazy staff most of the time hiding in the store

Small Wickes with an adequate range for basic DIY, entirely staffed by what appears to be zombies who will point and grunt if you get any interaction. On the up side a Greggs in the car park

Great staff but certain stock was really low.

I'm usually happy to use the Staines store but on this occasion I came in late in the day to make a purchase, there was one lady on the till, with four of us waiting to be served. Having served the first customer, she disappeared through to the back office without acknowledging or explaining to her waiting customers what was going on. I waited a few minutes, became impatient and left, leaving my intended purchase on the floor.

You need to do better than this.
