Ordered a bathroom from them, with installation. They took nearly £6000 up front. I didn't hear from them after the initial survey but nearly 6 months later I was told another survey would need to take place and then heard nothing more. I have tried to get hold of the kitchen designer at the store via phone and this is basically impossible! Emails are answered but with a minimum of a week dealy. I am now trying to get a refund but, yet again, no response! They are very keen to take your money but not a lot else. Shambles, do not use!

Visited today to purchase door handles. Before entering the store their was a trolley of broken sheets of plasterboard with felt pen written on the pricing them at £1. It was raining and they were smashed to bits!! I found the door handles I wanted but they were covered in dust as was the rest of the store. I went to the tills for a basket to be told no baskets but I could use a black builders bucket. Once again they were covered in dust but buckets were not big enough and no trolleys available at the front of the store they were all just left all over the car park. The store was shocking standards wise and maintenance wise especially compared to the Taunton store I had been in at the weekend

Dont expect a home delivery. We tried on line and sneaking to the manager. We eventually picked up guttering and down pipe but had to cut them in the car park to fit in the car.

When did Wickes get so bad? The display bathrooms are atrocious, how they're supposed to tempt anyone is beyond me. The store is poorly.signed and feels rundown. It's not a one-off either. The apart few times I've been in I've been bitterly disappointed to the extent I'm not going to bother.in the future.

Good selection of building materials at reasonable prices. I've found there rarely are any stock issues, you can always check online before you visit. Their delivery service has been a bit ropey in the past with stuff missing or delays so I just visit in person now.

Wicked is always the same. Deserted. Hardly any staff knocking around. Maybe a couple of lads stacking something on a shelf. A bored till assistant and a security guy who looks like he's lost the will to live BUT if you know what you want, it's price competitive, easy to get in and out and so far there are no Xmas trees. I quite like picking up my timber, etc there. No hassle

No problem with the store, however the delivery driver was very strange and rude.
He demanded that I carried the delivery from the street with him. When I told him that I'm not the property owner and am just working in the house as a plasterer his attitude got worse. I asked if he could wait 10 minutes then I would help carry the wood in the house he said forget it and carried the wood in the house banging the walls(newly plastered by myself) and door. When he left he had another go at me.

I am working on a ceiling that is drying up. Can't leave that to help carry wood inside. If it's to heavy then why don't wickes have 2 people deliver it? I'm sure the manual handling limit is 25kg per person and the stuff must have been 40kg
