Wickes

Absolutely awful. Decided to pop in last Saturday with my wife and daughter. We wanted to get some wood for an outdoor wood burner.
Was not welcomed, just stared at. All we got was reluctance to help from moody staff who either didn't understand customer service or just did not want to help. One gentleman just told us they should be at the front of the store, expecting him to show us, and later finding he was happy to show someone else with their query. Eventually after a lengthy process of getting someone to check for stock I took the bags of wood to the till (no one offering to help carry them for me and no one thanking me)

Went to get fence panels, you have to wait in a huge que toask at the till if they've any in stock and if they havent you can order them on line. Absolute waste of time, better off going to a timber merchant and getting your hands on what you need in minutes.

Much like the last review, the guy on the collection counter this evening seemed disinterested and unfriendly, and then when I went outside and went to return my trolley and retrieve my £1, but there was something wrong with it and I was clearly struggling, the different Wickes employee who came out and returned trolleys just walked off with no offer to help. I won’t return here, based on this experience.

Absolutely amazing customer service. One employee called Alfie was really helpful and after helping me in the store he offered to give me a lift home! All round a brilliant store…

Best store I have ever been to! Person who served me on tills named Chris made me feel very welcome and even offered to put my things in my car. Will definitely come back tomorrow to buy more filler after punching a hole in my wall because of Manchester United.

Always good value and generally have what I want in stock. Very helpful staff.

Terrible. How can a decorating merchant run out if painters caulk.
Staff did not know was Vape Mate although they showed 6 in stock

Not bad, just a standard hardware and building materials store.
