LBS Builders Merchants Aberdare

I have been using this company for nearly 2 years. The staff are very knowledgeable and attintive. The management are able to pull out the stops to meet the customers satisfaction. The prices are unbeatable and trust me I have tried all the material prices with other competitors. Highly recommend them to anyone.

Used LBS since it opened up in aberdare,
Not once have I had an issue with delivery/ materials or the staff,
The deliver times are great, it gets to the job when it’s said to be their,
Best materials I have has been from LBS and always cheaper then the other places that I have come across by a good amount £
For the staff, they are always happy to help and a great bunch of people you can have a laugh with from the people in the yard to the manager!

Worst builders merchants in Aberdare! I have used all of the major vendors in the town and most give a good experience if a little expensive. LBS however delivered my items to the wrong address, over a mile away, leaving them outside a poor random stranger’s house as no one was home there. This was entirely their fault as I provided the correct address. I was then blamed for the entire ordeal and they refused to accept responsibility for their actions and wouldn’t redeliver to the address of my customer (which I originally requested delivery to). I had to hire a trailer and go pick up the items myself which cost me over £50. Disgraceful company, disgraceful service.

We recently purchased our new kitchen and bathroom from LBS in Aberdare and have got to say Dave in the K and B department is absolutely fabulous and deserves a shout out.....his customer service skills are brilliant, he went above and beyond to help us and nothing was too much trouble for him....he helped us with everything and we cannot thank him enough....he is definitely an asset to LBS....thank you Dave for your patience and assistance and keep up the good work with your customers...Will definitely be recommending and will be returning in the future 😁👍.....

Brilliant..much cheaper than builders bitz

I have now waiting for a call back twice in the last month from the kitchen department staff at the Aberdare branch to a request that I would like to purchase two plinths for my kitchen I bought from them 3/4 years ago. I have tried to actually buy these plinths more times than I’d like to think in the last year or more but I have been unsuccessful as I’ve either rang and the kitchen department staff are never actually in work, available or if on the 3 times I have spoken to a gentleman there on that department, he says he will sort out ordering them and phone me back NEVER DOES. So I decided about 6 months ago to try the Neath branch, sounded very promising, another nice guy, till he too never ever returned my call or calls since where I just thought I’d call him to see if maybe he had taken my number down wrong. I just want to buy two replacement plinths for my kitchen! How on Earth do they even do business? Or is it that their not interested in selling me plinths and only give their time to people buying full kitchens, which then shows they couldn’t give a dam about any sort of after care. I will be put this exact review on the Neath branch site to as a review. Terrible when I absolutely love my LBS kitchen, but just can not get anywhere with their kitchen dept staff.

I ordered laugharne buff multi facing bricks 112 delivery was spot on but when started to move the bricks there wasn't many buff it was a mixture of grays and buff vey disappointing as I was using them for a brick planter and there is a lot of them chipped they look like monkos old stock

Been using LBS for all my roofing materials for years,great bunch of staff ,always go above and behond for us and will always find a way to help as much as possible,there isn't another building merchants out there who can compete with LBS aberdare,spot on everyone. 👌
