Nationwide Building Society

This is another good one (building society) and this one has an ATM!

This is my local branch, which I cannot use because the branch is only open for a few hours each day, when I am working, this branch used to be open on a Saturday which was really helpful, I get the feeling they don't really want anyone to really use this branch which gives nationwide the excuse to eventually close this branch. Yes Internet banking is good but no good when you want your savings books updated or you want to pay in money in coin bags. And I'm old school I like to deal with a person not a computer all the time! And I appreciate the staff need time off too, but I don't understand why it is only open for a few hours in week and closed on Saturday.... Surely this is also keeping these good people in work. Very disappointing.

This branch refused to accept a cash deposit today. Snooty woman one the counter looked at my card like it was used toilet tissue and told me to pay in at the machine outside. £15 a month for 'plus ' banking and I'm told to wait outside in the rain and handle a pile of cash on a busy windy high street. What makes it worse is two staff in the branch were doing nothing else. So sorry to have put you out ladies. My account and credit card are closed now so i won't have to impose on your precious time again.

Cannot fault Debbie and Sharon who I have recently dealt with. This is my local branch as it is near to where I work. Well done ladies.

This is my local branch. Went in today to deposit money and found the member of staff to be quite rude. Won't be going back
