I required help with bank statements.
I went to the customer service desk and served by a young Indian girl. She never once gave me eye contact, continually sniffing (which is extremely rude) , customers in the queue commented on it.
She didn’t say good morning ... when I asked if she could help find out why I haven’t received my required statements , her reply was ‘when you give me your details I will’. She was quite short in her answer.
I have banked with you for over 30 years and have always been served with such wonderful staff. So really disappointed with today.
Maybe a quiet word with her might help.
I have received in my Nationwide personal account an amount of money. I have than tried to transfer these into my business account. After waiting couple of hours these have not been reached my business account. Trying to check my personal account by internet banking or mobile app I have had the surprise to notice that my account has been blocked / frozen, with no access at all on my money anymore. All these, without being notified in any way.
Tried to get in touch with Nationwide over the phone on in the branch and they have told me they have suspected an unusual transaction and my account is under investigation and ~I will get an answer back by 28th February !!!!
I just want to mention that these money were needed to settle a finance that was made under my business account. Today was the last day to pay this off, otherwise I will have to pay more charges and interest on this amount.
From another point of view, I am unable to use my personal card for general payments, as groceries shopping, fuel or anything else.
So I have no access to my money for 1 week, just because this terrible company is not professional, efficient , when they could easily check or verify everything with just 1 click.
It's unbelievable !!!
Who will now pay me back the difference of 300£ for finance charges and interest???!!!
Nationwide is using my money for these 8 days. For the borrowed money , i am also paying charges and interest, and i cannot use my own money.
Do not use them at all!
I feel humiliated by the staff working with this bank, as they continue to say this is their process and investigation need to be made during these 8 days.
We are in the 21st century and they could easily check everything so fast
Disappointing!!!
Perhaps, since there are so many people looking for work at the moment, the senior management team can replace all of the current staff here and keep their customers?
