Nationwide Building Society

Due to a very bad experience with Lloyds Gerrards Cross, I decided to open a Nationwide account as I'd heard good things from friends.

The process was so easy online and took about 15 mins to complete. I then went into the branch and found the staff incredibly helpful and informative. I had a couple of questions for them but they offered to call me back which they did.

Because I was encountering problems closing my account, I rang the Beaconsfield branch and spoke to Angelique, who immediately was able to advise me about other accounts which attracted far better rates of interest than what I was previously receiving! Angelique was so professional, I opened a different account and am considering further ways of investing other monies. She is a tremendous asset to your company, knowledgeable, professional, and very personable. If I hadn’t encountered her, I would have taken my money elsewhere !!!

Many thanks to Branch Manager Angelique Tarrant (and her staff) for their monthly bouts of patience, understanding and personal attention, when my wife appears and requests paying her accounts manually! We transferred all of our banking from HSBC and Barclays to Nationwide last summer, and they have been terrific in every aspect ever since!!
