The Handlebar Cafe

Really nice café in the middle of nowhere. Extremely well placed for a stop after a walk at St Catherine's Hill or the surrounding area. Dog friendly and space for bikes. Nice view. The chocolate orange cake was divine, like a juicy oversized jaffa cake. Can't give 5 stars sadly as my Victoria sponge was stale :'( the latte was alright

Went here and had three different cakes and three different drinks. Everything was absolutely delicious. Quick service, friendly staff and plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Great facilities as well if you're a cyclist with a permanent work stand and a good range of basic tools to borrow. We were, however, disappointed with the lack of handlebar moustaches on display!

Absolute gem of a place. We stopped by whilst checking out the area for paddleboarding potential and what a great stop it was! The staff were super friendly and chatty and really helpful with local info when they realised why we were visiting. The chocolate orange cake was a big highlight 😋 and the coffee was lovely too. Will definitely be returning.

They had amazing cakes and coffee. However, the staff were very loud and talking amongst themselves. It was as if we weren't there. Hopefully they will take on the feedback to be more mindful of their customers that sit inside the cafe.

Perfect for cyclist! Cake and hot food is just what you need on a long ride.

Nice café with a good breakfast, friendly staff and nice surroundings. Good place to start a walk, lot's of people start their morning run here.

Fantastic food and amazing coffee! Was served by Donna and she was so polite and very friendly! We had a baby with us and she was very accommodating with getting hot water so we could feed her. 10/10 service and amazing food and drink

Possibly the best bacon sandwich I have ever had . Lovely. Coffee was pretty good as well. We ate inside. Staff were friendly and service was quick.
