Excellent service, wonderful coffee (I don't normally do 2 coffees back to back but this was too good to leave it at one!). Nice breakfast and a tasty muffin. Liked the decor and the ambience, too. Will definitely return.

Woefully understaffed. How a toastie takes half an hour to make is beyond me. Hatch has better coffee too.

Last chance used up...first visit they messed up so bad that they gave us a free breakfast coupon to give them a second chance, tried for a second attempt today and even worse. Full English breakfast came out swimming in water, asked for it to be drained - no apology - worst poached eggs ever, rock hard yolks and served with all of the gunk from the poaching water. Bad coffee. Zero customer service. No gluten free bread. Don't even take card. Very nice looking place but obviously run by clueless people, what a waste of what could be a great spot.

Recently changed ownership and now won't be going back. Coffee took 20 minutes to show up and then was the wrong order. Tuna and cheese 'melt' (£4.75) was stone cold and hadn't been toasted at all. An £8.50 salmon and egg breakfast consisted of one small slice of toast with a small amount of scrambled egg. No music, no atmosphere, clueless. Doesn't take card. No gluten free.

Independent coffee shop that is a favourite with the locals. Decent coffee (slightly acidic so better with milk) and cakes, and also does breakfast and toasted sandwiches.
Note that it can get very busy at times - this is a popular spot.
