Liars!! Just visited to get a cake. There weren’t many left of the size and base I wanted. I asked if they had anymore at back he said no, I wanted one with sprinkles. As I paid and picked up the cake lady brought out more, exactly the one I wanted. I questioned him, he said of they’ve just made it…odd they made it in the 2 mins I was there. He’d even gone to back to write msg on it, so he’d have seen them. Basically liars!!

This is the second time my order has been messed up by the Rayners Lane branch. The first time, I ordered for an auspicious occasion and they forgot to deliver the cake. I had to call them and in a hurry they did the piping which was messed up big time, not very happy about that. Now for today, I ordered a cake for the birthday and unfortunately it's the same story - they forgot to deliver. Staff is unwilling to listen to you and gets upset when you point out the fact they charge a £10 delivery fee and then just forget to deliver the cake! When asked about it, they promise we'll never make this mistake again which is an outright lie as it is the second time they promised this! Offering free cake slices or cake as an apology is not an option either, they have to stop charging people through the nose and than conveniently forget about the order and wait for the customer to remind them. I told them when offered please don't give us cake slices as it will go to waste (there is no way we can finish that on top of the cake!!) and they still did it as if actively ignoring my request makes them forgetting my order better? It just leads to a lot of food waste. The cake was clearly done in a hurry as well with messy toppings and piping. Never ever going to order cake from this place again. Such a shame 😞

After a few bad experiences with another cake vendor I decided to give cake box a try. And I'm very glad I did. They were professional and very friendly. Ordered the cake I wanted for a birthday for collection and I was very pleased with it. Beautifully presented birthday cake and no compromise on quality and taste. I will from now on use cake box for all my family cake needs. Would highly recommend!

One word. AMAZING!!! Never had any faults with any orders, always professional and helpful family run business. Have had all my cakes and even very short notice i.e on the day, they haven't disappointed. The chap (think is the store manager) Kirran, is especially helpful and will never rush you even if you end up spending 20 mins going through a number of different designs as they have a wide selection to choose from. They never fail to impress and it's amazing to see if there is anything they can't do. Birthdays, Engagements and even Wedding cakes, we have always ordered from this branch of cakebox and every occasion it's been fresh, tasteful and very professionally designed. Defiantly above and beyond than other shops in Harrow offering similar products.
