I popped in with a non-working eyepiece on a pair of Zeiss binoculars which I expected to have to send away for a warranty repair. Instead Alfred took the eyepiece apart and within 5 minutes he had the binoculars fully working again. There was no charge. Needless to say I’m delighted and if I buy another pair of binoculars I’d certainly try the LCE shop in Winchester first because it’s staff know their stuff about binoculars.

LCE Winchester is my go to for camera gear. The staff are honest and friendly, give great advice, the prices are reasonable and the second hand stock is always in great condition! I go nowhere else.

These guys know what they are talking about. They take time to listen and advise. Nothing pushy. They can get items in from other LCEs most efficiently and quickly. They do a fair trade in price too. Just easy to view and in the high street. Good old fashioned good service.

My camera needed dirt/dust particles and a long hair removed from the sensor. Canon no longer do a service on my model of Camera as it is too old. However, after speaking to Alfred Kenneally, he reassured me and discussed the process as straight forward. I went in the next day. I couldn't be more pleased. Alfred took great care and gave an excellent customer service. He even took the time to show me what he was doing too.

Great service, really helpful team in store. They took the time to go through all the camera and lens functionality and explain all the settings. Would definitely recommend buying from here rather than directly from the manufacturer's website.

What a fantastic experience. Went to purchase a camera from this shop as no other shop was allowing us to try the camera out before purchasing (this shop let us try it outside the shop and we were there a good couple of hours and they didn’t show any signs of impatience). The manager and shop assistant have been so friendly and helpful and are very knowledgable, offering great advice. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone wanting to purchase a camera, whether beginner or experienced. It’s a relaxing experience and you get to talk about best places to capture particular photos and share your passion for photography (we even got to see Alfreds photos). They have a wide range of cameras, lenses and bags. We will definitely be back to purchase our next camera/lens. Thank you Tony and Alfred!
