I am a regular "browser" the staff have always been chatty and willing to talk about the kit, even through most of it is out of my price range. I have purchased second hand lens and again had great input in the lens and the pros/cons of the the lens on the camera.
I have also attended both Sony and Olympus events host by the shop and had great experiences on both.

Excellent knowledge of staff, no pushy sales, they focus on what the needs are of the customer to find the camera that best suits them. Good range of top quality binoculars as well as all the top cameras. Thoroughly happy with them - I will still contact and buy camera's through them despite having moved out of Chester.

Needed to get a 40-year old black and white negative digitised urgently. High St chain shop told me it would have to be sent off and take 4-6 weeks and that would be the same for other photo shops. Not the case though with LCE Chester who did it 48 hours. Great service, great price, highly recommended.

Went in yesterday to find a digital camera for starting out.. The guy I spoke to (didnt get his name unfortunately) had loads of knowledge and was really helpful. I came away with a camera that I'm very happy with. There is only 2 camera shops in Chester, if you are looking to buy, definitely worth trying here :) This one is up on the rows near kingkabs.

Recently purchased for my partner a Sony A6944 and 50mm macros lens. The service from Jason (manger - they’re are 2 Jason’s) was outstanding. Taking time with my partner to understand her shooting requirements, unboxing and testing of the camera and lens through ordering and delivery of the macro lens. The team took time to share their work and engage with the both of us. Simply put they took time to understand what was wanted and enjoyed what their experience in taking photos. Very helpful bunch. I sold a couple of cameras and lenses, then bought from their online store to upgrade. They seem to really know their stuff and I have been recommended to them based on their reliability and after sales support.

Just bought 2 lenses and some accessories at the Chester shop. Had a fault with one of the lenses. LCE replaced it quickly and without hassle. Sorted out a couple of other minor glitches no problem. Excellent communications and very friendly.
