Great place to camp and explore the local woods on foot. The owners work very hard to make this campground pristine and cant do enough to help guests. Highly recommended

Wonderful site, amazing views! Great big open field for the kids to run around in. Huge fire pit and wood avaible to buy. Good toilets and showers. Nice bonus of a communal fridge so we could chill the wine. We will definitely be back!

A really lovely simple campsite with fantastic views. The facilities are basic but all that you need - plus a bar and events at weekends! There is a coffee and cake stall at the weekends too, and the site has Belper Bike Barn in the same area, so you can hire a bike or book a session to improve your bike riding skills. It is great to pitch up, help yourself to a fire pit and sit back and enjoy the space, peace and views. Just don't bring your own firewood as you need to buy the wood from the campsite. There is a wide open space for children to play in the middle of the site, with pitches all around the field edge, a very safe space to play. Sharon was really helpful with booking the campsite and responded to my questions quickly, the process was easy and straightforward. I'd love to come back and try the yurts with my children!

Praise sandwich! Tannenbaum campsite is situated on a gently sloping, well manicured grassy field with a great view. Each tent/van pitch has plenty of room and is spaced not too close to camping neighbours. It's a super place for kids to safely 'run free' whilst remaining in full view of their parents. On the down side, the rather tired, small unisex toilet block did not have any hot running water, other than the 2 locked showers which were priced at £2 a time. There was also no dish-washing facilities with hot water, no recycling and a charge was made for leaving domestic camping rubbish! However, internet and phone signal were very good. Would we stay at Tannenbaum again - probably not; for us there are plenty of better sites in Derbyshire.

Fantastic site. Reasonably priced camping. Lovely owners. Camp fires allowed. Great views. Bar on site. Fab!

Myself and my sister along with my five year old daughter attended the wreath making workshop yesterday. I have to say it was just incredible. Really got the Christmas feeling going on. We arrived a little early so we could have one of the lovely cakes and a coffee from the on-site coffee van which is lovely. Also they have a winter warmers menu with mulled wine so had to also partake in a spot of mulled wine and it was divine!! The workshop itself was brilliant, Helga the lady running it was very helpful, let us have unlimited amount of artificial greenery, flowers, baubles, sparkly twigs, pine cones, peacock feathers the list was endless. I had to take my daughter with me who is five years old and Helga even gave her a wreath to do her own little display on for free which was so so thoughtful. All in all a fabulous afternoon, thank you Helga for your amazing workshop and thank you Sharon as always for being the best campsite host hands down 🙂 x

Booked for the Christmas wreath workshop. Incredibly disappointing. Cheap, fake plastic products. Nothing like described on their website. No heating in a wooden shed. Walked out and more people followed. Would not book again.

As if it wasn't enough that this is the most amazing campsite with gorgeous views and the best host, great cakes, coffees, mulled wine, food van with the lovely entertaining Donna, but then they go and stick a wreath making workshop in the mix , soooo much fun, Helga couldn't do enough for you, worth every penny, highly recommend
