The Oven Camp Site

Not a bad campsite, but only giving 4 stars as it is not that spacious, neighbours tents touching distance from ours and the beach walk with a toddler is a little far and not the greatest pebble beach we have been too. Play ground area for kids very simple and small. Little shop is quite useful with what they stock.

Very family friendly campsite (so maybe not one if you're looking to have a secluded getaway). As long as you're ready for that then it's kept nice and clean (toilet/shower blocks especially). We didn't take advantage of some entertainment that was provided for campers but the fact it was there speaks volumes about the care and attention the owners put into this campsite compared to others around the country.

This is a pleasant campsite, good facilities including a small swimming pool, very welcome on a hot day. Friendly helpful staff, a tiny but well stocked shop, a cafe. Spacious pitches, and plenty of space for the kids to run around or cycle, even a football pitch. And a great location, Hayling Island has something for everyone and everything easily accessible. We really enjoyed our stay.

I had the best holiday at this campsite. They have a shop with all the things you might forget at really reasonable/cheap prices. The staff are really friendly and go above and beyond to give you brilliant customer service. The facilities are very clean and you get a nice size of land to put your tent. The swimming pool wasn’t heated but once you get in there it’s not actually too cold. Thank you to all the staff for the best holiday ever! I will be returning very soon.

A little disappointed that swimming was a surplus cost, I would of preferred this to just have been included in the price of the holiday.

The site itself was well kept, however the toilets were too far for us when it came to night time, as the site is really dark...would have felt better with additional lighting around the site or atleast on the walk way to the loo.

Toilets and showers were clean.

Nearest pub was 15 - 20 minute walk and the road to walk to it was very busy, so not ideal if your going out to eat with little ones.

Beautiful area and lots to explore, would return again, but only if electric pitch was available, and would certainly take a stronger torch for the toilet walk.

3rd time visiting this park, very child friendly, the kids love it, staff were very helpful and friendly when we needed to speak to them. Site is tidy. Lots of sited caravans but that's no problem for us. The pitches are a great size, big enough for caravan, car and awning. We will be returning 😃

Can’t fault this campsite, regular stayers and just returned from an early September stay in a tent. Pitches spacious and flat, facilities clean and showers have plenty of hot water.
Swimming pool on site we have used on previous visits, the pool is well maintained and clean. Small shop on site stocks all the basics you need.
Staff are extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. The cafe on site serves a good breakfast.
Lots for smaller ones to do as well with a play area and ball game area also.

Just had a two night stay, GREAT site (weather really good so👍🥳)
Clean, tidy, secure gate entry, Kat, Eleanor and Lisa were friendly, showers and toilets and facilities were clean. It was 'quiet' due to being October and the kids had a great time. The beach and the 'Billy Line' coastal walk is 5minutes drive so plenty nearby and LIDLs 5 minute walk, 1 minute drive around the corner. Will definitely return. 🥳👍
