Liked: Beautiful location, really convenient. Emily was lovely, a great host. Sparkling toilets, the best we’ve ever seen on a campsite! Great setup. Level pitches, pitch wherever you like. Fire pits and timber available. Quiet music allowed until 10pm. Walk into the village, with pub and shop.

Disliked: No showers, but can’t really complain as we knew this before and it wasn’t an issue.

Liked: A lovely spacious campsite. We had plenty of choice of where to park up. There's tree cover round the edges so you can avoid the morning sun if you like a lie in.

The toilets were excellent.

We were looking for a campsite where we could arrive quite late as we had an evening ferry, so this was a great fit for us as we could turn up 'anytime'.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Beautiful site, and the insistence on 6 metres either side of each pitch makes it feel very private and spacious - a great idea. Facilities were immaculate and we'll functioning. The info available on site regarding walks, pubs locally etc was really useful and the walk to the nearest shop and pub was even signposted for the majority of the route by the campsite, which was great. Quiet, family friendly campsite! Dog loved it too.

Disliked: No showers, which is fine for a weekend but would be nice to refresh after a long walk.

Great location, beautiful walks, in a stunning village location.
Close to the historic city of Canterbury.
Also close to the port of Dover so ideal for stop overs, or to explore the white cliffs of Dover. Recommend the white cliffs walk with a stop at the lighthouse at the end for tea and scones.
The campsite is clean with lovely facilities and Emily was so helpful over the phone.
Highly recommend this family friendly campsite.

Perfect quiet camping retreat. Facilities are excellent with well maintained toilets and washing up station. Fire pit availability and wood is fantastic. A super friendly, laid back feel run by really lovely people. Thanks Emily for being so welcoming every time we stay.

While this site is the perfect stop off for the port. It’s also a beautiful place to stay. With a large spacious flat field, woods to explore and a nice walk into the village it’s well worth stopping and exploring the local area. We are local and have stayed here a few times as it’s really nice place to use as an escape from everyday life.

What a place!! Wow..

We loved the site, it was so peaceful great place to switch off. We stayed during summer of 22. Emily and her husband (sorry can’t remember his name) were super friendly, the facilities were so clean.

Being able to pitch up where we fancied meant we didn’t feel to close to anyone else, our kids spent hours playing in the woods, we felt so safe.

Allowing open fires in a hired pit was brilliant for toasting marshmallows.

We can’t wait to go back!

The owners of this campsite must be campers themselves - everything is so well thought through and of high quality: the toilets are spotless, properly tiled and spacious, with plenty of hooks and shelves for stuff, the fire pits are stacked neatly on shelves and come with gloves and a wheelbarrow for transport to the pitch, and everything is sign-posted and labelled with beautiful and clear signs. The nearby woods are magical. We will be back to explore more.
