Liked: Basic and clean facilities with everything you needed. Spacious pitches. Quiet with lovely views. Close to local shop pub and bus routes. Friendly owners but you are left alone to enjoy your stay. Was allocated pitch before arrival so you can just turn up and set up.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike really but recycling facilities would have been nice. Be careful of the water it’s very hot and be aware that there’s just one unisex shower and toilet block.

Liked: Tap & electric to each pitch is very convenient. Quiet location. Pub within walking distance. Great Wi-Fi signal.

Disliked: Stones on pitch much too large and uneven to walk on. Pitches and area next to toilet block full of weeds, nothing like the pristine pictures shown on their website, which was very disappointing. Not keen on unisex toilet/shower block even though clean and good facilities. Not sure I like to ‘contactless’ approach. Didn’t find much walking in the area.

Liked: Site location, showers, toilets, 'camp inn', a really good site, tent pitches in a really nice location, possible to pitch to give privacy to all campers. Just had a really nice time. Hope to return at some point! dogs had a blast :)

One thing I liked but wasn't prepared for was the floodlight at night. Brilliant to not have to use a torch to get about, but I could read inside my tent without any additional light. Perhaps an eye mask would have helped!

Liked: Really simple site and people were friendly. There's no reception so it didn't feel in any way invasive for those of us who go on these sites for alone-time. Loved the fact that there was no trek for water too. Nice adjoining field for dogs. Felt safe. Toilets and showers were just fine. Spent all my time at the actual site and didn't really go anywhere, but it was a very pleasant, relaxing mid-week stay.

Disliked: Ermmmmmm... Couldn't find my pitch at first as the number markers are small, but as it is a small site that wasn't any problem.

Liked: Just got home from 8 nights at Pointer Farm and we miss it already! The best camping trip we have ever had. The site is small and peaceful with only the sound of the farm animals, which the kids absolutely loved. The shower and toilet block is perfect, kept at a consistent temperature and we never had a cold shower. The Camp Inn is a brilliant addition and we ate from there on our first two nights. The food was lovely and they even delivered to the tent. The taps next to each pitch are a brilliant addition and the pitches are flat and generous in size. The owners were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Our son made friends with theirs on the second night and he loved running round the site with him, playing hide and seek and football all evening. Ideal base to explore the local area and a bargain price per night as they don't charge extra for gazebos, extra cars and people etc. Cannot wait to return.

Disliked: That we had to leave!! (There is nothing at all to dislike, we had an amazing time)

Liked: The campsite is a small, secluded field. Our children were more than happy to play with a ball or frisbee but worth noting if someone’s looking for a play area for children. The site is roughly 20 minutes’ drive from Fleetwood so location is quite good. The site was quiet, even though we visited on a bank holiday. There was a basic menu on offer too which we really appreciated! Would definitely come back if we decide to visit the area again.

Disliked: It seemed that they had a sewerage issue the weekend we visited as the toilet/washing up area had a smell so strong to make your eyes water.

Liked: Lovely open spaces for kids to play, quiet with a hint of mooing from cows but nature is amazing! I absolutely loved staying and the price was just amazing too! Well lit up at night but not enough to disrupt sleep. Facilities were all clean and well kept.

Disliked: How far the toilets are from the tent pitch. Not fun to walk to in the middle of the night.

Liked: Don’t normally write any reviews but felt like I had to with this place. Lovely clean and quiet site. I loved the fact that we didn’t need to have a face to face check in too and could just crack on…. Fantastic space for my 2 year old to roam safely and the dog had a ball too.
Free wifi
The motorway was closed on the day we were leaving and was shut for over 10 hours. Messaged the owner as we had a 2 year old and a 5 week old baby with us. They were amazing and so accommodating of us and did their best to support us so we weren’t stuck in road closed traffic with two young children for hours. Honestly, their kindness and understanding made our weekend- it could have been easily ruined by being stuck with our babies and the caravan on the back. This is now our place to go when we are heading over to Blackpool/st Anne’s way. Also, knott end was lovely for a nice walk on the beach and cafe!
Thank you again for your kindness and understanding.
