It's our second visit to this campsite, set in a idiotic setting. Ideal location within one hours drive to many other attractions. Also lots of local attractions too. The lady who runs it is very pleasant, easy going and able to assist with local knowledge. The actual campsite itself is very quiet. There are several hardstanding pitches with electric hook up, ideal for all year camping. Also there is a large field for tents and motor homes, which is lovely and secluded. Lots of widlife and nature to see. Please note that this campsite as no showers. But does have washing up facilities, toilets, and chemical waste disposal. There is also a must visit local pub within walking distance.

If you want a peaceful, quiet and beautiful location in the heart of Sussex, then this is it. The views are spectacular. The owner was friendly and on hand to answer questions, and the site was spotless and well maintained.

Lovely campsite. Very laid back owners, which is nice. Beautiful views across the fields. Owners and their dogs need to understand, not everyone loves their pets as much as they do. That said all dogs were well behaved, puppy was the noisiest. Will definitely revisit.

Really lovely peaceful very well kept Campsite set in a beautiful village in the stunning Sussex Countryside . Check out the gorgeous village church and local village shop which is about 1 mile away and run by volunteers .

Chiddingly Camp and Caravan Park
I’d known of this site for many years and always meant to spend some weekends there, as I’m a big fan of the nearby Six Bells. After not having used my caravan for a year and a half and being desperate to escape for a while, I booked a week - and absolutely loved my stay.
I don’t want to say what I really think about this site, for purely selfish reasons, but I booked an extra three nights at the end of my stay. It’s quiet, relaxed and friendly, as is Andy the owner. I found him to be both helpful and flexible. You do need to make use of your on-board facilities, which I haven’t done in the past, but as a 71 year old I didn’t find this any problem. There are excellent dog walks in the immediate vicinity of the site, though a walk to the Village Shop, about a mile away, turned into a day out by the time I’d had a couple of pints on the return leg. I don’t think this site would be a good choice for families, but for adult solos or couples, with or without dogs, I would wholeheartedly recommend it. I was reluctant to post too positive a review, as I don’t want it to become difficult to book, in future, but I loved my stay and so did my collie!

Just back from a 2 night stay to give our new motorhome her maiden voyage. This is an excellent site in a beautiful and quiet setting and is great value for money. Andy the owner was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The Six Bells pub, a short stagger down the road is a must visit. We will be going back. Sean
