Liked: We have just returned from 2 nights at Dukeries Retreat and it was amazing! 😍 we got a very warm welcome from Michael upon arrival, the bell tents, site and private toilet are immaculate! There was everything you could possibly need here for a relaxing get away. Bbq, private hot tub, bar area with your own fridge and all kitchen utensils. There is a games room where you can borrow outdoor games to take around to your tent. There’s a communal kitchen area for any overflow you may have. Seating area is available outside your tent or if there’s a group of you there’s large spaces with outdoor pizza ovens. We stayed here with our two young children aged 4 and 7, we felt relaxed enough to let them run through the fields, it was all secure and gated up & you could watch them at all times. The views are amazing, local shops, village and town are all within a 5/10 minute car ride.
We would highly recommend the Dukeries retreat, and will most defiantly return 🙂

Liked: The layout of the whole complex is very well thought out. Loved the private bathroom. Owners were lovely, everything very clean.
Disliked: It's a shame that it's on a main road it csn get a little noisey

Lovely site, with immaculate facilities and stunning views. Very handy with a a couple of pubs just over the road and a spa on hand too! Will be staying again.

Liked: Wonderful stay, lovely accommodation with everything you could possible need. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset was the highlight of the stay!!

We were visiting a friends wedding at Ye Olde Bell and needed somewhere to stay overnight in our campervan. We were so impressed! Lovely clean bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and very close to the village centre. We'll done Dukeries!

Superb. Lovely Clean site. facilities superb. Log fired hot tub. Bar with running water and a fridge, log fired pizza oven. Fire, hot tub, beer, pizza, Sorted..Will definitely recommend and we will come back again. Many thanks to all involved. 👍 toilet block stunning.

My friends took me to Dukeries Retreat on the bank holiday weekend as a birthday present and it was absolutely perfect! The tents were luxurious with extremely comfortable beds, and I especially appreciated the individual bar areas, with their own fridges and cooking equipment. Having an individual bathroom for each tent meant that you were never queuing for a shower, and you didn’t have to carry your toiletries to and from the block. It was a great break from city noise - but not too remote that we weren’t able to go for a drink or order a takeaway! I loved the hot tub, which we spent a lot of time in due to the amazing weather that weekend. We also had fun cooking breakfast on the fire pit and making pizza’s in the pizza oven. The family were lovely and so helpful, I really recommend staying here and I will definitely be coming back soon!

Having an individual bathroom for each tent meant that you were never queuing for a shower, and you didn’t have to carry your toiletries to and from the block.
It was a great break from city noise - but not too remote that we weren’t able to go for a drink or order a takeaway!
