This is our new go to for camping as it's not far and the views driving there and surrounding the camp are amazing with a nice stream running by the camp.
It was very windy on our stay as its like being in a valley so a good Eastern breeze felt very strong on this site BUT it was windy everywhere not just here.
The staff were lovely and facilities are brilliant and clean!! Campsite is small too so feels a little more secure and a nice little Park for the kids.
15 minutes walk maximum from Hayfield town which has plenty of pubs but i highly recommend you book in for food otherwise you will not get in... and its very pricey...
We can't wait to return to this site and you won't be disappointed socially if you live hiking!

Very spacious and open area for camping. You have your spot for putting up a tent, car or caravan. There are lots of trekking and sight seeing adventures near by. The site also has good Internet via WiFi, so keeps you connected and the kids happy.

I camped here for 4 nights. Lovely location, very clean facilities and helpful staff. However, my tent was placed in the middle of the site (really, the tents should be put out of the way as there was lots of noise from people passing) and there was no policing of noise after 11 and before 7 am. The campsite is also on the direct flight path of Manchester airport, with planes arriving/departing throughout each night. Unfortunately I think that the level of noise pollution makes the campsite unsuitable for tents.

Gorgeous setting at the foot of Kinder Scout. Andy and the team were so helpful and the site is very well kept with all facilities you could want. Just sorry we didn't stay longer.

The most amazing place to stay. We stated ay caravan and camping site in our motor home. Loads of lovely walks for the experienced or novice. We will get returning many more times, super ace place to go

Clean, tidy, well maintained, friendly staff and quiet. Plus there's a great pub just over the road. Perfect.

We keep going back so must be good. Glamping, pitching or motor home it's great. Shower facilities are great. Also has laundry and drying facilities. Shop is a average considering the nearest supermarket is in glossop so they could make a small fortune from it if it was better stocked but that's about the only negative. Site is lovely as well with pubs and restaurant near by

Excellent site on a good bus route to Glossop and surrounding area. Campsite was well looked after and beautiful hanging baskets etc around the site The staff were lovely too
