Classic scout camp. OK facilities. Kitchen has good equipment and basic utensils.

Bunk rooms stuffy as windows painted over and shut.

Please note that this is a tick area, particularly May to Oct

Good camp site for Scouts & other youth organisations. New hut under construction looks great; current hut is getting on a bit, but still has all the facilities needed for a winter weekend camp. Some of our (fool)hardy team even went in tents in the smaller camping field; there's a much larger field by the river.

First time staying here. Arrived in the dark so unable to see much but looked a great place when viewed the next morning. Bunkhouse well equipped

Very friendly welcome. Warm and cosy in the huts. Clean and newly painted. I went to help celebrate 46th Scarborough 70th birthday.

Fantastic site, absolutely no mobile signal at all, limited WiFi is available.
The buildings are really modern, the main camp pitch is very flat.
You will need transportation to do anything off site.

Really nice centre, great facilities for camping and staying on the huts, plenty of space for activities and nicely secluded
