Warwick Racecourse Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Like other reviewers We really enjoyed our short stay here. Let’s be honest, the site looks a bit rundown, not much feng shui in evidence but still very charming. Staff were first class, facilities spotless, and if the races were on, the privileged view area would be fantastic. Would definitely come back. Just tidy it up a bit.

The staff are great, helpful and very pleasant and the site is well positioned for walking into Warwick.
However, in my opinion the site itself could do with some simple up grading.
Some of the hard standing pitches are pea gravel and the one l moved on to was a few inches deep in it which made it difficult to pull the aqua waste out and aqua rolls into position as they just sank in to it when full.
There is only one service point for fresh, grey water and cassette waste; another service point is needed at the far end of the site.
Another issue with the service point is that the aqua roll sits in a brick surround and when full, its awkward getting it out and onto its side.
A drop in the curb is needed so that the waste masters do not have to be pulled up to get to the emptying point

Great base for sightseeing, only a half mile from market square and restaurants. Toilet block spotless. Only 5 miles from M40. Will definitely be returning at some point

Lady receptionist clearly worn out at the end of a busy summer, and had great difficulty being polite. However, spotlessly clean and very convenient for the town. Quiet and well-maintained. Greatly appreciated the tarmac area, easy access and good Wifi if you park on the racecourse side.

Well positioned but the road and pitches at the rear were done on the cheap using road planings and gravel pitches instead of stone. The lady on reception greeted us with a pleasant smile but was very inflexible when I requested an alternative pitch. Which was not used during our stay.

Site is well placed to visit Warwick also enjoyed the horse race on one of the days we happen to be there for.
The staff were very friendly and helpful they had only arriving 2 weeks ago
The only negative was lack of mobile phone service on my iPhone
The site was spotless
Would highly recommend if visiting Warwick

Small ideally place for walking into Warwick and visiting the castle also as the title says Racecourse great on race days. The site is small the welcome was friendly facilities very clean .

As usual very friendly welcome on arrival also a wealth of information on local area. Ideal for few days break or overnight stop.
