We stayed for the F1 this weekend, we will be back next year without a doubt. Facilities better than I expected - hot showers with good pressure, loo's clean, and the bar is far cheaper than at the track with ice cold drinks. We set up on the quiet field, at the furthest point from the race track and it was still only 20 mins walk to the track, just under 1.2 miles. Easy booking and no problems at all on arrival. The price is very fair for the F1 weekend, unlike the official campsites, which are far more over crowded.

Campsite is decent, short walk to track, however site has many knobs camping who think we all like to hear their music and karaoke..getting up at 5.30 for race day with knobs playing music late is not ideal. Also having drinking water right outside toilets is not ideal, the amount of times I saw straight from bog to drinking water tap to wash hands, then I am expected to use after to fill drinking water.. site needs patrol to tell people to turn music down.

Amazing campsite stayed 4 nights for the F1 weekend. Great showers & toilets kept spotlessly clean. Good size pitches and electric hookups excellent. Food and bar well stocked and competitively priced. Staff always smiling, can’t wait to go back next year.

Stayed for the Motogp 22, website and booking could be better, however, the directions were spot on, when we got there it was well organised and laid back .. yes in the same sentence ... very clean tardis loos and showers and great party atmosphere as everyone has same in common. Great Bar and food van too

We camped here as a base for the Formula 1 weekend at the Silverstone Circuit. The cost was £20/p/n. For this you get to choose your piece of land (no marked pitches). The field varies from reasonably flat to seriously sloping. An adequate number of chemical pod style toilets and four portable shower blocks. These were excellent with no time limit on use or hot water. If you booked early enough there was the offer of upgrading and having an electric hookup. That would be an extra £115/pitch. These are marked pitches. This covers Wednesday to Monday which is 5 days plus 2 half days. The walk from our tent to gate 4 was approx 20mins not the ten as stated. But it isn't a problem if you have reasonable mobility. This walk doesn't have any illumination when returning at 22:45 after the concerts have finished. There is a licensed bar with a seating area. Technically a bear garden, a nice touch but didn't use as had all our needs covered. Now, there was a catering trailer offering hot food. I.e. On Friday it was Fish, chips and peas. It wasn't edible. I understand they had a problem with the fryer not getting hot enough. So, they should have stopped serving the fish. But they kept taking orders and dishing out frozen battered fish fillets that were not edible. We bought 3 portions and disposed of 3 portions @£7/meal. The chips weren't cooked and the peas could have been used as bullets. The staff were obviously unprepared and out of their depth. As for Windmill Farm advertising this as a campsite, that maybe a leap too far. It is a farms field that has amenities towed into place for the duration. It is more than adequate and serves it's purpose, but it isn't a campsite.

Great campsite if your going to Silverstone. Friendly people, facilities are very clean. Would recommend. Easy access to the track, about a 10 minute walk and also good for accessing the village centre

We stayed for British gran prix 2022 and campsite was fantastic. Always kept clean, toilets and showers were very good. They even lent us an extension cable for our ehu as ours was too short. 15min slow walk to the track.

Stayed at Windmill for MotoGP and it was perfect for us. Facilities on site, bar and catering at top of the field, campsite quite after a full day at the track so could chill. Definity going back!!
