We have just returned from a fantastic 2 night stay at Valley Yurts and we loved every minute, especially our 2 children and sprocker spaniel. Pre arrival Jo was super helpful with very speedy responses to my queries. On arrival Jo gave us a quick tour of the site and our yurt, everything was spotless!! The communal kitchen had everything you can possibly need to cater for your stay and the shower and toilet block were immaculately clean.

It was peaceful, scenic and relaxing. The yurt itself was roomy and had some nice touches like extra blankets and marshmallows for toasting on the fire pit. We hired the pizza oven and purchased Jo's lovely homemade pizza dough and toppings and it made for a very tasty and memorable experience.

Overall I can't recommend Valley Yurts enough, it's safe, peaceful, friendly and to top it off, you get to feed and pet the two cutest goats you will ever meet - we will definitely be back one day, maybe in the Shepherds Hut next time. 😊

I have stayed at Valley Yurts twice now and it’s fantastic. There are good walks and the kids can charge around I. The field. The yurts themselves are spacious and comfortable with a little wood burner with wood provided. At the top of the field there is a well kitted out communal kitchen, an outside pizza oven and a separate games room tent with board games and table tennis if it’s rainy. The field itself it’s tucked away in a beautiful valley and you feel very secluded.

I cannot recommend Valley Yurts enough! My family and I stayed for 2 nights with a group of friends. We were able to book each of the yurts and the shepherds hut as one big group which was fantastic - it meant we could all sit back and relax as we watched our kids explore, play, run wild and free in the most beautiful setting!
Our yurt was just wonderful - not only have Jo and Matt thought of every single little thing we could need, they have made each yurt so cosy and welcoming.
Our stay was perfect and worth every penny, we were lucky with the weather and got to enjoy sunshine and blue skies, however this place has something magical about it and I’m sure would be wonderful in any weather! Thank you Jo and Matt! Can’t wait to come again x

Have just spent two incredible nights with friends at Valley Yurts in Gladestry. Every single thing had been thought through so perfectly, from the automatic lights in the loos and showers, to the marshmallows left outside the yurts for smores, to the extra blankets and hot water bottles and the solar powered lights for when the light faded - it was all just perfect.

Jo and Matt were so helpful and popped down within half an hour to sort a light out when we wondered where the fuse box was. They were on hand before our trip to answer any questions and have obviously poured a lot of love into the whole site.
The children in our group ranged from 6 months to 8 years and all had an absolute ball, making lifetime memories with one another and immersing themselves in complete freedom! The freedom for the children was the best bit for us, allowing them the chance to run about in a safe space and enjoy playing together - bliss.

We will be booking again as the same group and also with the different generations in my family too.

A beautiful valley with yurts that meet all your needs. The lovely hosts Jo and Matt went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible , even giving us a lift at the end of a hike. The kitchen yurt is well set out with everything you’d want and well thought out. The loos and showers were colourful and clean. The beds was as really comfortable and a good night sleep was had. I would recommend this yurt stay to anyone wanting a relaxed and laid back holiday, in the knowledge you’ll have everything to make your stay comfortable.

Had a brilliant week at Valley Yurts. Jo and Matt are fantastic hosts who really go out of their way to help you have a great stay. The yurt was brilliant and we loved the communal kitchen. The toilet facilities are spotlessly clean. Lots to do in the area or you can simply sit back, relax and take in the beautiful scenery. Highly recommend booking the pizza oven and pancakes cooked over the fire for breakfast were amazing! We’ll definitely be back!

We had such a beautiful and memorable weekend at Valley Yurts. Even having seen photos of the site beforehand, I was absolutely blown away by how much thought, care and creativity had gone into every nook and cranny. The yurts were super cosy and comfortable - loads of extra bedding and a lovely log burner for the colder nights. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need and we had such a great (and delicious!) time using the pizza oven. Everything was immaculately clean and easy to use.

Jo and Matt are such incredible hosts and have created an absolute utopia. I can't wait to come back and do it all again!

P.S. Shout out to the goats for the endless entertainment.
