Acorn Camping and Caravan Site

I have been to this camp site a few times with my daughter and friends. It's a very peaceful site with picturesque surrounding land. The owners Diane and Rachel are amazing they will do anything for you to make your stay a happy one. Rachel is absolutely fab and my daughter really warmed to her.
The cafe is lovely with great food and your dog is always welcome. The showers are hot and it's just a lush place to be at. I've been a few times and it's like a home away from home. We love it and my daughter feels very at home there.

Lovely camping site. Come regularly. Only thing that let's it down is people with no regard to being loud and talking til 2am.

Shower and toilet blocks are clean if u abide by the rules of mopping after yourself.

Fab for dog owners. Beach nearby, 5min in car.

Cafe is lovely, very clean n tidy

The staff are fab. Can't say enough how polite n helpful they r.

Lovely place to stay but please keep a cap on the noise. Just have signs to say quiet after midnight 🙏

Lovely family camping site. Great staff. Nice food in cafe.. definitely will stay again. A few things need a little update. Good value for money

This is a great place with a family atmosphere. Its the end of September but there were still some people here. My kids found some others to play with and really enjoyed themselves. Breakfast was good in the cafe and everyone was friendly

Stayed here in the Shepherds huts (blue one) for a 1 night stay after a wedding. Hut was well equipped and made up with 3 beds (1 double + 2 single beds) Very comfy and cosy. Tea and coffee making facilities, camping stove and a heater. The toilets and showers are about a 1minute walk away and in clean condition. Thr huts are on a field and equipped with a bbq and picnic bench outside. We saw a children's park and there was also a shop and cafe on site. Will definitely be back for a long weekend with the family

Lovely campsite with hedges around some of the pitches, and trees for shade in the summer sunshine. There is a site shop and cafe which was very popular with the campers even a playground for the children. Diana & Rachel were very helpful and accommodating showing us our pitch when we arrived very late on the first night. Great walk from the campsite across the fields then along the spectacular cliffs to the Llantwit Major Beach. Shower and toilet block were clean with laundry, washing facilities and book swap all under cover for those rainy days. Highly recommend a visit.

Great site! Facilities were excellent with hot showers and washing up area - the block was warm at the end of October also! Good pitch, kindly leant us long lead as our power lead is a little short! Llantwit is a nice little town with cafés, restaurants etc. Short and pleasant walk to the coast which is lovely! All in all a peaceful and pleasant stay, thank you!

Lovely clean and friendly campsite. Good sized pitched and just a short walk to the coast. Dogs welcome. Will definitely visit again.
