Better place than I expected to be fair.
Booking was easy but could definitely do with an online system as we had to do it via text/email and bank transfer
Our pitch was on a bit of a slope which we couldn't eliminate even with ramps. But we only stayed one night so not an issue.
Fantastic scenery in the whole nearby area so definitely a good place to base yourself.

We went for 1 night camping, it was our first experience. The location is amazing, it has all around great views.

Rest rooms were clean.
Utility room had running hot water.
Shower room was also tidy.

In the night, you will hear the road traffic sound, vehicles whizzing past the camping site.

Also, in the night, you will hear the sounds of sheep/lamb.

The camping site gets bit of light from the street lights on the adjacent road.

We recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice camping site.

Showers are horrible and very old. Never had good warm water. The camping is close to a main road, so you hear traffic all day and night.

A service road runs through the campground. Every hour or so, a big water truck passes through. The last one is at 12:30 AM and around 7 AM the first one of the day is heard.

Note: after a few days they seem to have fixed the showers. Still problems with the warm water to do the dishes.

It a field, flat in most places that allows fires, pets along with porta cabin amenities, set with a picturesque farm house in a stunning location, with walking distance to the Brecons, for £10 a night .... No brainer!
Don't trust the showers

Decent campsite. Several clean toilets and showers provided, wasn't too busy and there's lots to see nearby.

A lovely little campsite but
The spot we were put on had no phone signal, no television signal and we were constantly in the shade of the large trees.
On a good note the toilets were kept clean and were fully stocked. The showere were old but were hot.

My partner booked this place as has stayed here before when visiting bike park Wales.
We only stayed one night and took a wander around the reservoir which was lovely.
Facilities were brilliant, had pretty much all we needed - really enjoyed our stay.
Booking in and departing by text was easy - appreciated that.
Good value for money would definitely stay again.

Lovely campsite, accommodating and friendly owner, the surroundings are stunning. We turned up without booking and stayed for the night with our off grid Campervan and it was perfect. Woke up to a nice view of the hills.
Quite cheap too.
The only thing is that the fields are on a bit of a slope.
Not used any facilities yet but they look nice from the outside.
Will be back for sure another time!
