We have just returned from a lovely two night stay at this site. The owner ‘flo’ greeted us with a lovely pot of jam and helpful information pack which we put to good use both days with walks in this beautiful area. The shower/toilet block was clean and tidy with a small basket of toiletries in the ladies and men’s block which was a nice touch. We are very much looking forward to booking another visit to this area and would most definitely book this site. Our best wishes to Flo, Ed, Izzy and soon to be new addition to their family. We hope to see you in the spring! Jeremy and Tina.

Beautiful little site. Facilities were excellant and the couple so friendly. Flo, the owner, goes out of her way to make your stay happy and even gave me little bottle home made jam.
Some lovely walks not far from site but found some of the styles a problem with my dogs as they arent dog friendly and had to lift them over.
Overall lovely quiet site to start my holiday.
Good luck to you both on the forthcoming new addition in December.

A little bit of heaven with an angel of an owner! A very clean, quiet site with super clean facilities. A nice little touch of gooseberry jam from Flo, the owner. Would come again. Good luck to Flo, hubby and little Isabella for their forthcoming addition! What a delightful little family.

A warm welcome awaits you at this fabulous little campsite. The owner Flo was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. She even gave us a jar of her homemade jam.Everywhere was clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Just home from our first week at Church Cottage, and it definitely will not be the last. A beautiful site with fantastic facilities spotlessly clean shower and toilet block with extra toiletries provided. Amazing walks and an abundance of things to see and do within a good walking, or short driving distance.
Flo and Edd and there two delightful children have only been up and running for a little over 12 months
and this site is a credit to them.
So if you get the chance, and they are so busy, please spend some time at Church Cottage you wont be disappointed. Thank you Flo and Edd for your amazing hospitality.

Lovely site, ideal for walkers as there are plenty of stunning walks around.
The toilets & shower block is immaculately kept, and the little touches like a basket of toiletries, for when you realise you've left yours in your unit.(We've all done it😀). Flo and Ed (owner's) are friendly and ensure you have a pleasant stay without being intrusive. On discovering it was my birthday Flo arrived with a vase of home grown Sweetpeas, which was such a lovely thought. We'll definitely be returning

Just come home after spending 9 nights at Church Cottage camp site. What a little gem Flo and Ed (the owners) have got themselves.
Flo, along with her two little girls, look after everyone to ensure that they have the best holiday stay there as possible, whilst Ed keeps the site clean & tidy.
The toilets & shower block is immaculately kept, with all the soaps shampoos etc that your likely to need.
Lovely site in a lovely area - really recommend it for a quiet peaceful holiday.
Will certainly be returning to the area and the site.

When I arrive on a campsite, the welcome makes up for 50% of the total stay - I sometimes arrive to nobody, I sometimes have to queue, I occasionally have to go searching for someone and sometimes I arrive and there are so many people, I wonder if I've made a mistake!
It was Flo's text that made all the difference, it was warm, personal and welcoming. It told me what to do if I arrived and she was not there and it reassured me that a) we were expected and b) there was a choice of pitches.
On arrival, Flo and her baby daughter warmly welcomed us and then allowed us to settle in. The campsite is small but spacious, level pitches and each pitch had a picnic bench. The shower/loo block was clean and at no stage did I find myself sharing the space with another camper. The bins were well located and labelled away from the camp space and the washing up area was spacious and practical.
Walks from the site were plentiful, with Offas Dyke and White Castle within easy reach over fields.
Minor niggles are that the pubs were not really within safe walking distance (around 50 minutes off road) and the locals do not adhere to the 30mph speed limit on the Old Ross Road - this said, night times are very quiet indeed!
Flo and her husband have poured their heart into this campsite, which you can read all about in the literature, it is new and still a work in progress, I have no doubt that I will one day return and hopefully see the fruits of their labour - I found the passion very inspirational!
