Great little site. Right beside the river, facilities are old but kept spotlessly clean. Owners are friendly and welcoming. The nearby road is busy but you can get a long way from it at the top of the field. Access track is bumpy so take it easy. Disneyland it ain’t - but at this price you shouldn’t be expecting it. Highly recommended.

We were a little apprehensive about using this site after we read the awful review left by Oliver Mills……I’m so glad we took no notice of his terrible review and gave it a go!! It was fab!!
Ok so the track does have a couple of slight shallow hollows that are missable and no worst than the roads we all use!!
There are a couple of flattish fields and a lovely shallow stream running down the left side, which we parked next to, it was lovely with the sound of the water tumbling over the rocks….we had a great paddle!!
It was beautiful sitting next to it eating our food and having a glass of wine watching the sun setting!
Ok so there are no electric hookups and the toilet reminded me of my grandads outdoor privy with its whitewashed walls, but it was clean with no smells, and could do with an update but it serves its purpose no problem.
a waste water toilet disposal area outside the loo and I was informed of a shower to the rear of the Farmhouse that we could use, we are self contained so didn’t use it so can’t comment on it.
Anyway all in all, it’s probably one of the best sites I’ve been on for a while, very quiet, the lady was nice, the other campers were a nice friendly bunch that go there regularly, lovely little stream and about 20 mins walk to the beach…..and all for just £10!!
I’m sorry this has gone on a bit, I just wanted to try to repair any damage done by a clown who’s expectations were caviar when he had only paid for soup!!
USE THIS SITE AND ENJOY!!😁👍

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BOOKING HERE !! 👎🏼
Owner is rude, nosey and very judgemental and the “campsite” is nothing more than a poorly maintained ex livestock paddock with no lighting and an access road that is barely suitable for cattle never mind cars.
The site is littered with old apparently disused or forgotten touring caravans that are surrounded by overgrown weeds, the stream is overgrown with weeds and has an unpleasant smell and to top it off the site ablutions are the worst I have ever seen, toilet is dirty and neglected in what appears to be a derelict animal shelter and the shower is actually worse, children are not welcome and are monitored constantly to the point of being reprimanded by the owner for something as petty as touching a piece of hosepipe that is used for washing out an external waste water drain point.
As a single dad with two young children who were excited to get away for few days camping I can honestly say I can’t believe there are people who want to go here….. VERDICT - GO ELSEWHERE … you have been warned
