Liked: The Campsite is situated in a beautiful part of North Wales with stunning views. Facilities on-site were excellent and Ray & Rose were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Thank you for contributing to a wonderful camping trip.

Disliked: Mobile Signal and data is pretty nonexistent though some would see this as a blessing, it made planning days out in advanced a challenge. Download any offline maps you may need in advanced!

Thank you so much to Rose and Ray for accommodating 18 of us and 3 dogs for the weekend! We had such a fantastic time ☺️ and was so well looked after!
We had the whole campsite to ourselves, the new rec room is perfect if the weather takes a turn and the whole campsite is so well organised and kitted out!
The pods are so spacious and clean and Ray even set up our fire pit for us!
We will definitely return, we’ve been on a few occasions now and have loved it every time 😊 thanks again!

The location is lovely, it’s so nice to have the adjoining green spaces to view and walk through.
The provisions, in terms of consumables, were super, more than we expected and ideal if one forgets the washing up liquid et cetera! We also found the provision of toilet paper to be an added bonus.
The amenities, such as shower block, kitchen etc is very useful together with the en-suite toilet, fridge, kettle and sink which made things very much easier for us.
We were very grateful for your understanding and respect of distance with us shielding, and the long path to the pod (which we noticed and loved that colour co-ordinated with the wigwam paint at the front) gave a very useful gap to maintain when we were chatting, Raymond, thank you.
The layout, having the 3 bed/sofa combinations was perfect, the mattresses being comfortable enough for adults and children alike! Being wipe clean was one of the reasons we opted for you. Having the key in the door on arrival so it was contact free was excellent. I waited to send this review as we planned a return trip.....
We have now stayed with Clwydian Holidays 4 times in a pod, for 3-4 nights, in less than 2 months and the service has been truly excellent. We are very glad to have found you, thank you again!

This was a little gem of a place very peaceful family run business. Gareth was very helpful when booking the pod and Raymond and Rose were very welcoming at the site telling us where to go to eat and where to go for walks with our dog. The pods were very clean and the toilets and showers were brilliant and clean, there’s even a wooden hut to play games in when it rains. And a cooking hut with everything you need. We are already looking to book again this is one of wales best kept secret hideaways. See you soon we are defo coming back time and time again.

Disliked: Disliked that we had to leave so early!

Liked: Only stayed for 1 night, but Ray was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful when I arrived. I was the only one on any of the tent fields, so had my choice of where to pitch my tent. I was told that the cell phone service was pretty poor, but I had signal the whole time while I was there (EE). The shower/toilet and kitchen buildings were clean and had everything I needed. It was nice that there is an extra little lounge space to use if you need to get out of the rain. The price for a tent pitch is super affordable too, so I appreciate that.

Disliked: The ground on the tent pitches is slightly sloped, but it wasn't too bad - didn't find myself sliding down my tent at night.
