Fron farm fishery

Liked: Absolutely stunning. Very friendly family run site and stunning views. We stayed with my 7 year old grandaughter her
mum and me and the wife. The dog was abke to enjoy herself as well. The pitches were perfect with a decent space between tents. The site is in a beautiful location and is quiet and peacefull. The toilet and shower facilities are cleaned every day and kept nice and clean. The free fire pit for the pitch is handy and only a fiver deposit. Firewood is available to buy at a reasonable price and will last the night.
Looking forward to returning again.

Liked: Lovely peaceful location and the pond/lakes were very attractive. We even had a friendly chicken join us which was so nice!

Disliked: The shower/toilet block was definitely on the more basic end of the scale.

Liked: Absolutely everything! The site was easy to find and absolutely wonderful. We were made to feel very welcome and had a great pitch . It was lovely and quiet and my husband was impressed with the fishing ponds.
The showers and toilet look a little tired but are fantastically clean and more importantly work! The shower did not have a push button and you were able to change the temperature which was fantastic.
The whole site had a great vibe and the owners were absolutely lovely. Thank you for a great stay, I’d love to return.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing.

Liked: The setting is beautiful and the lakes scream out to be fished. Lovely people that run the facility which is so important when booking. Facilities are good, electrical hook up easily accessed. All areas were good to walk on, no muddy quagmires to trek through. The whole place was clean, no litter, no spurious farm vehicles and the scenery was breathtaking.
The fish were amazing and fought like fish twice their size. Free range on the bait used is a big bonus.
Organisers left you to get on with enjoying your stay.
I look forward to returning next year.

Disliked: Nothing really

Liked: Very remote and limited internet which suits me. Beautiful area and scenery. The pitch was private and flat with plenty of room for my van and drive away awning.

Disliked: The water wasn't hot enough in the washing up area. Basic showers and toilets but perfectly functional and clean.

Good value for money. It offers two toilets and one shower for women and two toilets and shower for men. Very clean facilities. Large fishing ponds but you have to pay and it is "catch and release ". The owners are very kind and helpful. Recommended to those seeking adventure. Not recommended to snowflakes 😄

Liked: Setting lovely. Nice walks around lakes and field above pitch. Very dog friendly. Reasonably priced but correct for the facilities.

Disliked: Very basic facilities. Unable to lock door when using the shower. Could have been cleaner. Someone previously had used dish washing and left it covered in grease and had not been cleaned since.

Liked: Recycling facilities, dog friendly, well kept grounds. Good options for placement of camper. Good facilities for water etc.

Disliked: Basic shower facilities but not bad. Just too many spiders for my liking this may be that we were at the end of the season.
