Liked: The site is beautiful, it is set on a quiet road, in a small village, the river runs just by the camp site but is far enough away to not cause problems with camping if it rains too much for instance. Excellent facilities, which are always clean and stocked with toilet rolls and soap, the shower is amazing and hot. Overall a well kept quiet site that was a pleasure to stay at.
We would go again.

Liked: Beautiful campsite. Pitches are a decent size and can accommodate for large groups. The toilets and showers were basic but super clean.

Disliked: We unfortunately experienced a lot of noise from a large group of motor bikers in the evening going into the early morning (2/3am).

Liked: Very well maintained and spacious pitches. Quiet and family friendly, everyone respectful of each other and the environment. Great idea to have free fire pits and amazing location by the river. The staff are thoughtful about every element of their site from the layout, the way the cut the grass to the information displayed around the site. The toilets and showers were the cleanest I've ever seen as a camper and the shower was nice and hot with good pressure. We loved the added sink to do dishes too. Beautiful location in the valley and close to the river. We wouldn't hesitate to come back next time we're camping!

Liked: Everything! Site was amazing, we got their late but there was 1 pitch left for us, the river was lovely, had a nice foot treatment from the fishies and it was deep enough in places for a swim! Kids loved it! Toilets and showers were lovely and clean! Always stocked up with toilet roll too!
Fire pits were great especially because not every site allows them. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but also have the convenience of have a shop/small town 15/20 min drive away!
The pitches were lovely and flat too!
Other campers were nice and friendly, kids had such a good time! Everyone was quiet by 11pm or before. One morning we woke up to sheep right outside our tent which was nice! Owners done great at keeping everything clean and tidy, when the bins got untidy they came round and tidied them up, also left bin bags tied to the gate for people to use. Really is a great family campsite, we will 100% be back!

Liked: Great little campsite. Plenty of space for the children to play. The river was lovely to paddle in especially during the heatwave. Clean toilets and showers. Helpful and available owners. Our car broke down and they allowed us a later checkout so that it could be fixed. Ideal spot for day trips to the beach or other areas of interest. It's also nice that everyone respects the quiet time between 11 and 7. Would definitely visit again.

Liked: Starry skies on clear nights, location with easy access to nearby towns like Mach, Dolgellau, Aberdyfi. Flat, large pitches and spacious layout. Lovely lane to wander down and enjoy ripe blackberries. Occasionally low flying RAF made an exciting spectacle. Deliciously soft spring water and delightful riverside location. Hearing the owls at night was a joy.

Disliked: Slightly confusing check in. We texted Sian as per instructions posted at the entrance. We looked hard- there are no clear instructions to choose one’s own pitch. Litter left at the pitch we liked by previous occupants, so a quick tidy up required. Mostly though, the nearby kennels across the river were very noisy- hearing stressed dogs barking is not very relaxing. Showers are hot but a little too rustic, closing the gaps to ensure privacy and making the shower and toilet cubicles a little larger would be welcome additions. Lastly, we never met Sian and so couldn’t put these points across. It’s the first campsite we’ve used where the host had been absent. The main road can be a little intrusive.

Liked: Not on top of each other like most camp sites, Quiet, clean toilets, warm shower, slow flowing shallow river right next to camp site, RAF planes fly over during early afternoon, free fire pits, firewood available, lovely green surroundings, close to sheep but far enough not to bother them, couple of football goal posts which the kids enjoyed, somewhere to leave your rubbish not take it with you and stink out the car for the journey home, all in all a spot on place.

Disliked: Nothing to moan about

Liked: Peaceful campsite, with beautiful views and access to the crystal clear river. Clean toilets with plenty of toilet paper and showers with warm water. Thank you Sian for being so helpful and welcoming. We've enjoyed every minute of our stay.
