Stayed here with the family and we were quite a large group with many kids - the site was perfect. Vans and tents around the edge of a large almost flat field so they was so much space for us and the kids. Owners are lovely and for a small fee you can have a fire pit and a bucket of wood. Brand new shower block with warm showers. Surrounded by fields and nature. Lovely, highly recommended.

Liked: Everything, after travelling the UK staying at several campsites. I can honestly say this was the best of the lot. Quiet field, plenty of space, clean toilets, wash room and showers. With a laid back but respectful attitude from the owners. A very nice welcome and accommodating for any needs. We will definitely use the site again should we travel to Wales in the future.

Liked: The field was well kept and level. Ideal for tents and tourers. Facilities were brand new and very clean. Owners were friendly and helpful. Fire pit was great addition in the evening as we were a group of 5 families who gathered in the evening.
Great location 30 mins from many attractions e.g Tenby, Oakwood and Pembroke.
No WiFi (didn’t expect it though) but pretty good signal anyway
Highly recommend and hope to revisit in the future :)

Liked: My husband and I got back yesterday from a 2 night stay at Y Bwythan, camping in our tent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though we were enduring torcherous heat....lol... our priority being keeping our two dogs as comfortable as possible. The owners, Nigel and Erica, are both welcoming and accommodating. Even though we had taken some firewood and small incinerator with us, we hired the larger fire pit and wood for £5... a bargain!!! Such a lovely quiet site with spotless showers and loos! Due to the extreme heat and no shade, I did keep looking at the great tree stump in the centre of the field and envisaging some sail shades attached, with maybe a bench or two for a little reprieve from the sun.. .. lol ! It could be a nice feature for Mums and Dads to sit when the little ones are playing on the swings. Just a suggestion! Anyway, a fantastic time was had by us both and we were so sorry to leave. We could easily have stayed a few more days, but sadly, we had to return to the hum drum and daily grind of work..... however we promise we will definitely return! Thank you, Nigel and Erica. You are doing a fantastic job.

Liked: The campsite was very clean. Its only a small campsite and there's not much close. There is a pub up the road and it's 25mins from everything else. The owners were lovely and welcoming. They brought logs every night for us £5 each basket. It was lovely for a quiet family time. Really enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: There wasn't facilities such as a microwave or kettle which was ok but I think this would of been a good postive to have. Even so was a really good stay.

Liked: Stayed here with family and friends around 20 of us in total. Lovely well kept campsite and owners were lovely too. Owners came around regularly through the day and checked if everything was okay and if we needed anything, very friendly and approachable. Lovely addition to the stay was a fire pit and was able to buy fire wood from owners for a reasonable price. Toilet and shower block were very clean and recently renovated. All in all a very enjoyable stay and positive experience.

Liked: We stayed 5 nights here and can honestly say it’s the best campsite we’ve stayed at. It’s really peaceful, there’s plenty of space for everyone and lots of room for the kids to play. Probably the highlight is the fact the toilet and shower areas are super clean and the showers are powerful and hot. The owners are absolutely lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Y Bwthyn to other campers. It is really well located for Pembrokeshire’s attractions and beaches.

Liked: Loved the scenery. Elaine and Nigel are a lovely, tentative couple and nothing is too much to ask. The toilet/shower block is lovely and the views are magnificent! We had clear skies with no light pollution and my goodness, the sky was breathtaking! Brilliant communication and a very comfortable atmospheric feeling while staying at Y Bwthyn. The drive to Y Bwthyn was picturesque, chocolate box pretty, and a wonderful talking point. It is our favourite place to stay while in Pembrokeshire l, and we will visit Y Bwthyn as our go-to place to stay. It was a brilliant campervan experience and my husband and I absolutely loved our stay.

Disliked: We did not dislike a single thing.
