Liked: Beautiful location, nestled in the middle of the Welsh valleys.
Laid back in terms of arriving and leaving, no pressure to get out by a certain time, very useful with young children.
Decent facilities.
Site owner was quick to help when we thought we were having engine trouble.

Disliked: Toilets could maybe have done with an allover clean but no big problem.

Liked: The setting - peaceful and quiet. Close to the town and cycling trails.

Disliked: Nowhere to wash pots. No hot water in toilets. Showers were far too hot and temperature could not be adjusted.

Liked: Nice and laidback. Not crowded even on bank holiday weekend. Well kept grass and no allocated pitches. Brilliant night sky views, I saw so many stars. Easy walk into the town to get supplies. Dog friendly so always a plus in my book! Toilet and shower facilities are on site. Fire pits provided. Good value for money.

Disliked: Maybe a designated dog walking area could be put in somewhere for late at night but having said that it’s no trouble taking them up the track and back onto the footpath on the road.

Liked: This was our 3rd stay at Plas y Cadno this year and everytime has been thoroughly enjoyable! Very chilled out and laid back, you can arrive/leave when you want and pitch where you like. The scenery is beautiful and the farm is peaceful. Plenty of toilets and showers so no need to queue. The family are more than approachable should any issues arise. Plas Y Cadno is a firm favourite of ours and we shall return every year from now on. We made friends with a few of the locals and now meet up everytime we return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Liked: A nice quiet pitch with plenty of room. The facilities were basic but functional.

Disliked: The speed at which cars/vans travelled down the lane to the farm.

Liked: Peaceful spot with rolling hills and a stunning reservoir area nearby. Everyone in the town was friendly. Hosts are beyond helpful. Thanks again so much for towing me out the mud - I totally should have used the hard standings given the rain! Very good 4g signal too.

Liked: Its a basic site but thats what I needed for a local event. Grass pitches with gravel roads so mud mats were needed but given all the rain recently the site held up well. The town is an easy walk in and due to the lack of lighting a good torch is needed, however on a clear night the milky way is clearly visible. Toilets and showers were a bit muddy but thats not surpising considering the weekend was a bike bike event with lots of muddy bikers all needing to get clean. 4g signal was excelent on the site and the location has great views. Its a working farm but overall its a nice little site and good value for the facilities offered. I'll be back next year.

No frills camping. Tents, caravans and motorhomes all welcome.

Showers n loos are basic but functional.

Zero light pollution at night, so great star views.

Local village 15 mins walk along a path. Welcome pubs / hotels in the village.

A great place to stop for the green events!
