I popped in today for the first time and they had a fantastic range of clothes and equipment. Staff were helpful and friendly both upstairs and downstairs and in fact I ended up having an animated discussion with the assistant downstairs about an air lounge!!! I hadn't seen these before and the assistant took his time dcolInjbg and demonstrating it to me. I will definitely go back to purchase this fantastic item as soon as I can! Great shop snd products and great customer service.

The assistant really went to some trouble to make sure I bought walking boots that fitted properly. There was a test bridge in the shop on which you could test footwear on a simulated outdoor surface and slope. Took my new boots on a two week walking trip and had no blisters or rubbing -- best pair I have ever bought. Would strongly recommend.

Often seems low on staff who struggle to find the time to help you, despite their best efforts. Due to it being a small store the range is limited and they still try to cover all the bases a larger store would. For instance buying climbing kit here is an extremely limited experience and not recommended.

A great place for anything you want from a weekend camp to a full on expedition. Lots of choice, friendly staff with a wealth of knowledge. It's not cheap but it is value. Remember what they say buy quality, buy once. Highly recommended.

Went in to buy some running shoes and the guy was absolutely brilliant. He tested my gate and then chose a selection of shoes that suited my running. He then let me test all of them on the running machine before I chose what are my perfect running shoes. Very happy, and my running is already much more comfortable and I can run much further too! Thanks

Great customer service, good quality brands like Mountain equipment, North Face and Berghaus, I bought a few items, though shoe section was a bit busy and couldn't manage to buy any walking shoes
