Cotswold Outdoor Salisbury

I’m happy to recommend this place for anyone who is interested in the outdoors.
High quality products of all the well known brands and good service from knowledgable staff.
Located close to “The Square” it’s on two floors and, currently undergoing refurbishment.
Prices are reasonable but expect to pay more for the best money can buy.

I attended with my daughter to get her DOE gear. The young man that, had to be pulled from the back room to speak to us clearly did not want to be there. Any questions about footwear or suitability of clothing or food were meet with the eye roll and monosyllabic answers, it was truly a frustrating and very difficult experience. If we had not been so time pressured I would have gone elsewhere. To cap it all, I questioned him at the counter when paying, that as a DOE customer didn't we qualify for a discount? He suddenly remembered that we did but said "do you want it then or not" ! Customer service or sharing of expert knowledge is clearly not a priority.

Fabulous customer service. Both assistants were extremely friendly and helpful. The chap even went upstairs for me to get what I needed.

Good central location, very helpful staff who are always on hand but not pushy and great product availability too.
