Sure enough we got to see the two boxes we were interested in and decided on the slightly more expensive one. Dean was very patient and not at all pushy. Dean then proceeded to mount the box on our car (we already had the bars), put the internal straps through the loops, and place the 2 keys on a keyring.
Good old fashioned customer service and I got the feeling that should we ever encounter a problem with the box that A1 Epic would assist.
I hired a roof box from them for my 7 nights stay to the west coast of Wales. They sorted me out with a good deal for 11 days. There is absolutely no hassle involved with hiring a roof box from these guys.
You book and reserve by paying a deposit. You turn up with your vehicle on the agreed date where they will fit the roof box and bars and explain everything with respect to how to use the box, they'll measure your height so you know which barriers of any you'll need to avoid. You'll need to pay a security payment for the box which ours refunded when you return the box.
Once finished you turn up on the agreed date and they'll remove the box for you (doesn't take long at all 5 minutes tops). You go in the store and get a refund on the security payment. Simple.
If you need to hire a roof box and you are from the Leicester out surrounding areas you need to use these guys.
The staff at Epic were happy to advise and helped me try different options, without any sales push or patter.
I left with exactly what I needed at a good price, a friendly wave goodbye and job done.

would you believe, it started about one minute before Paul arrived. Did I feel embarrassed ?……a very big, red faced, YES.
So,I drove the car to Epic and they spent many hours and tests to find the fault, and I was beginning to dread the bill. Their dedication and service was exceptional. Other friends of mine have also expressed the same sentiments. Oh, and the bill ?…..far, far less than I had expected !!
