We decided to buy a second hand Roomster from Winchester Motor Company off Autotrader.. 300 miles away! Scott Morton did a fantastic job of describing the vehicle over the phone including shooting a video for us. He was thoroughly helpful, very reasonable and genuinely interested in ensuring that we were happy with the car. The previous owner had scratched the vehicle down one side and Scott arranged a body shop respray 'we have a standard we set ourselves at Winchester Motor Company'. The body shop work looks flawless. Just before we drove back North a common software glitch became apparent on the Amundsen Plus Sat Nav.. the service team squeezed us in on a busy Saturday morning to put it right, they did a great job. Very impressed with the whole operation and highly recommended.

Fantastic car buying experience from start to finish. Gary was brilliant, from the first phone call. Gary created a personalised video of the car for me to view due to us being over 220 miles away from the dealership. He collected me and my little boy up from the train station which was a lovely touch after being on a train for 4hrs.

I would highly recommended Winchester Skoda to anyone looking for a new car and also highly recommend Gary for his excellent customer service.

I'm writing to thank the team at Winchester Motor Company for the excellent service they provided to my mother when she bought a Fabia recently. Gary was the lead salesman, but Johny and Wayne also helped bring the car from another dealer so we could test drive it. They were all friendly, clear and efficient and made the whole process run smoothly.

Many thanks!

Please be aware of the part exchange calculator on the website. Very misleading as my car was valued at £19.170 and I was only offered £18.000. Was told that the ‘showroom’ option should not be there and that prices fluctuate throughout the month. If you follow through to the end of the calculator I was informed that it says that the final offer will be made on their inspection, but a £1.170 difference?

Just bought my new used kamiq from Christian and i’m very happy. Fantastic advice and went above and beyond to price up and sort out a good deal for my chosen model. The process was smooth, efficient and easy. Thanks so much, Christian!

We visited to look at and discuss motability options with Gary Graham.
I have to say the entire experience was pleasant, helpful and easy.
Gary was very attentive and knowledgeable.
We felt comfortable and at no point pressured.
Would highly recommend on all counts.
Thank you !

Went for service. Whrn dropped off car had kids with me. When collected it was pleasantly surprised they've left a Teddy bear in the car. Thought was a good gesture. Some time later looked at the invoice and they charged me £20 for that bear. Kind of confused by this sneaky sale. Oh and by the way it's not a contract as was no invitation to treat offer and acceptance for consideration.

Having been a couple of times for MOT, I won't be going again. The most recent visit to fix something quite minor turned out to be very expensive for what it was. They all mumble through their masks, don't look you in the eye when talking to you (too busy clicking at a screen) and are not clear in their communication when explaining pricing. All this leads to an unwanted 'diagnostic fee', which after all the mumbling I assumed was the cost of the part. I knew what the problem was and was happy to just have it replaced and was told that was probably what would happen. Why charge a diagnostic fee when the attitude is that it will be replaced anyway?

Once it's diagnosed, you're then charged again for the time to have the fault fixed so now I feel I've been charged twice for something I could have done myself or just lived with for a bit longer, considering how minor it was. The cost paid was far in excess of the inconvenience I was putting up with.

Of course they get that all important signature when you drop your car off, which coupled with their poor communication and mumbling gives them licence to charge you what they like or you don't get your car back, effectively holding it to ransom.

My third and final visit, I'll be going to the local garage from now on as I really wish I hadn't bothered going here. Total rip off.
