Cecil & Larter Used Cars

We dealt with Tom Crawford when we recently part exchanged both our current cars. It was a sudden decision as we saw a couple of cars we liked as we drove past a few times. Tom is a lovely guy and so helpful. I liked the fact, we weren't being rushed or pushed to decide and we took time to think about things and have a test drive. The paperwork side was painless and tax and V5 sorted out by Tom which also made life easier, especially as we had to take the kids along to the garage while we arranged everything. I would definitely recommend Tom and Cecil & Larter in general.

From the first telephone contact to driving off the forecourt, we have nothing but praise for Cecil & Larter. The staff members we came into contact were helpful, friendly, informative, efficient and not at all pushy, with special mention to Tom Crawford who dealt with our sale. The car was as described and we are very happy that we made the journey to Bury St Edmunds for it rather than somewhere more local. I would be more than happy to use the services of this firm again, as and when I need to replace the car. Oh, and they are a dog friendly company!

Part exchanged my Volvo for another used one after being impressed by the service department over several years. Tom has a pleasant sales manner and was helpful in also driving up a smaller model than we were looking at for comparison. He was also efficient in completing the official paperwork (V5 and tax return came within a couple of days of purchase) and dealing with the questions we asked as well as the p/x. We are now pleased with our purchase and the process.

From start to finish Tom at Cecil & Larter has been outstanding. He offered me a good price for my car on a p/x and the Focus ST I was interested in was listed at a good price. Hassle free exchange. There was a slight issue with the battery on the ST and when I picked it up he told me they had put a new battery on it. Car had been valeted and was ready to go when I arrived to collect. All paperwork sorted quickly. Very good customer service and would definitely be happy to buy from them again.

This is the fourth car we have bought from Cecil & Larter and as always the whole process was handled in a courteous and efficient manner.
Tom was always available to answer any questions, extremely patient with our dithering and dealt with all the V5 and tax paperwork for us making the whole process of buying and selling a car easy. Thanks Tom, great service as always.

We husband and I originally visited Cecil & Larter with the view to look at a Volvo Estate. Unfortunately they didn't have one for us to see only a car. On viewing the car in their foreground we noticed a Ford estate. We had a drive and Tom one of the salesmen informed us all about the spec of the vehicle. We were very impressed so after a lot of decision making we decided to trade in our BMW Z4 and pay the extra for the Ford. The whole experience was made easy by Tom and his colleagues.
