This place is a pleasure top deal with, Tony the owner is a gent and will take care of you, not only explaining what is wrong but will also look at how to fix things without throwing massive money at jobs. I have just had a clutch and fly wheel done on my A3 and it is fantastic. The work he does is second to none and the price is very reasonable. It must be good when major dealers take their used cars to him for MOT and repairs....

We had an unexpected issue with our car, so took a walk up to Marchend Motors to get some advice. The gentleman we spoke to was very friendly and professional, and made time for us even though he was busy. We brought our car in, and they had it repaired much quicker than expected and for a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend and will be using in the future.

Came recommended by a friend & must admit very pleased with the work carried out by Tony & his team & not being very knowledgeable on engines myself Tony came across very helpful& polite 👍🏻

Absolutely pathetic services, only interested in your money. Untrained and rude staff with no customer service experience. Do not trust any word from them. They will deny and backtrack on their words at the speed of a thousand gazelles. They gave me completely false information regarding MOT re-test. The Staff on the phone will not even listen to me as a customer and was jumping to his own conclusion. I will definitely give them "zero stars" if this is possible. I will not even recommend them to my worse enemy, avoid them in any way possible. The worst customer service I have ever had.

Hi. Tony from marchendmotors here. I can understand Kwabena’s disappointment at Marchend motors. Firstly his car didn’t pass the MOT, 25/11. He took it away and booked for a retest on the 9/12, 10 working days later. The repairs done by a third party were too such a poor standard, the car wouldn’t pass. Surprising for someone with Project Engineer BEng (Hons), AMIMechE after his name, I’d of thought sorting a set of brakes was right up his alley. This is where the confusion began. Kwabena said he was going to take it back and have it repaired correctly this time ( front brakes siezed on ). He asked how long he had for a re test. He was told 10 working days. That period ended at 5pm that day. If he’d of returned on that day, correctly repaired, he’d of been issued a pass. Correct procedure would of been to issue a failure when the car was represented for a retest. 1 retest is allowed by DVSA per test. Kwabena telephoned on 3/01/23 to arrange a retest. I tried explaining that he was 23 days past the original test date. A new test would be required. kwambena was unable to grasp the fact that his 10 working days were expired. I did my best, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time, especially if they’re unable to listen to what your saying. I even asked Kwambena “what do you want me to do”. He wanted a retest. I explained he could bring his car for a “retest”, we’d input the cars details, the DVSA then decide if it’s able to have a retest ( I explained it wouldn’t ) and we’d go from there. To say he was not happy isn’t stretching the point. He threatened me with the ombudsman, I explained this wouldn’t be a problem but he really ought to complain to the DVSA, the government body that administers the scheme. 1 only interested in your money. £45. 2.Untrained & rude staff. All staff are trained and not rude 3. Customer service. Never an issue with customers that at least try to listen as opposed to not.4 Thousand Gazelles. Must say we don’t get many Gazelles in Bushbury so can’t comment on that one.5 False information regarding re tests. I even gave you the link to the DVSA website so you could see it in Black & White for yourself. 6Avoid them, please please Kwambena please do. Thanks for the review, we all a had a laugh 👍

Can't rate Tony and the team highly enough. Looks after my personal and company vehicles, as well as many other members of my families cars as well. Does a fantastic job at a good price!
