I’ve had my car delivered this morning by a lovely gentleman who had travelled from Stafford. He was very professional, showed me how to use all the controls and offered to wash it as it was raining (no need as it was perfect even with the rain!) .
Car is just gorgeous! I love it!
The service I’ve received from GMP has been exceptional! I was given a lead in car as mine was being made, flawless service. Hannah and Charlotte behind the scenes have also been fabulous. Very much recommend GMP Drivercare!

Excellent service.
The car took longer than anticipated but that was more due to car emission testing changes.
There was also a delay in the first order that the lease company didn't submit in time and this therefore caused and avoidable delay.
A shining light in the whole process was Tiffany Leadbetter (GMP employee). Always available and quick to respond and very clear on the process. Always kept me in the loop and tried her best to speed up the process. Excellent telephone manner and honest.

During Covid-19 my order was cancelled (no fault of GMP), however I needed a car quite urgently for work as my current one was dying. GMP made it so easy to order an alternative and advised on lead times with updates. The process of receiving my car was very simple and straightforward. Their customer service is brilliant.

Horrendous company!! First car I had with them I was very happy so didn’t think twice about getting another from them. All was well until I changed to another company who also used GMP. I rang them and asked how I swap the car to my new company. Two months later I changed jobs and got back in touch via email as requested to change the car over and was then informed they needed 4 weeks notice to swap the car over and that I would need to return it and pay the early termination fee. They are a shambles and very under hand. I have requested a recording of the telephone call which allegedly can’t be found and now they have requested the early termination fee from my old company when I have stated I will not be paying until I have the recording. I am now seeking legal advice!

Poor communication. I ordered a car last October through the NHS trust I work for and was expecting a delivery Feb/March, however now being told it will be Aug. Expected delivery date has been changed 4 times at least and I have tried contacting GMP a few times and have asked the question about cancelling the order and been told that someone will get back to me but no one ever does! I wish I had done my research and picked another company. Nightmare of an experience so far! 😔

Update: contacted GMP again only to be told that expected date of delivery is now Sept! And it will cost me £420 to cancel the order.

My wife (an NHS nurse) ordered a car through her employer’s salary sacrifice scheme in June 22 with a 12-20 week lead time. The car was initially supposed to be available in October 22 so she made arrangements to dispose of her current vehicle then. Then the date was put back to December 22, then March 23 then May 23, bringing the lead time closer to 40 weeks, far in excess of the 20 week maximum. So she made alternative arrangements and informed GMP, cancelling the order. GMP refused to accept the cancellation until a cancellation fee (£500!) was paid. As the money is taken direct from the employers payroll my wife has had no choice but to swallow the cost. GMP have effectively scammed my wife out of £500 for their inability to provide the service they are contracted to do.
I imagine one or two of the employees of GMP were clapping the NHS during the pandemic. This is hardly the reward NHS staff deserve.

I can honestly say GMP have been extremely helpful in the past - I am on my 3rd car with them now and the service they offer is excellent however, when my last car was returned it was 23 days over the contract due to lockdown, my new car couldn't be delivered and I was charged £341 which I wasn't informed of. This resulted in a significant loss in wages and the short fall results in a couple of bills not being paid which I have now been charged for - I wasn't very happy about this at all.

An absolute shambles. GMP offer a lower quality service at a much greater cost than other companies. Terrible communication during the entire process. Unfortunately, our trust is currently committed to using this company, but understandably a number of end users are lobbying for a change. Do not use if you don't need to!!!
