Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Lincoln North

I recently hired a van, unfortunately the door opened on its self in the wind and bashed the light unit as the previous renter had removed the door restrictors. I had various body shops assess the damage, although it was a very light dent, it wasn't a quick fix as it crossed a groove, about £200-300. I returned the vehicle really disappointed that checking the restrictors isn't part of their procedure. They charged my £1200 excess. After weeks of not hearing anything (i had emailed my opinions to management) i received a refund of £400 ish.. making the bill more than double what i felt it should be.
I feel Enterprise may no attempt to help in this situation, charging top money for repairs plus hire rate while being fixed.
I had a similar situation with another local firm in the past and they carried out a repair extremely quickly, same day i believe and the cost was extremely reasonable so i had no issues paying the bill.
Its a real shame as i did like renting from Enterprise but i won't return. Good luck, i hope you don't have a similar situation and always take out the extortionate damage waiver just in case as they'll make you pay top money if something happens.
When things go wrong companies have the chance to create a customer for life or put someone off for life. Unfortunately for me on this hire the previously mentioned other local firm didn't have the van i needed. I'll make sure i hire earlier and use them every time from now on, their fairness in the situation i mentioned means so much more after seeing how Enterprise handled it.

Good place to rent a van at a reasonable price. They also deliver and collect when and where they say they will.
If you want to leave a car there while you rent something though, forget it.
There will be nowhere for you to park it as the site is so small, all the places are taken up by either their own cars, staff cars, or people who arrived at 3am to get a place.

Absolutely Poor Service !! I've been waiting months for Enterprise to get there act together and match payments correctly. I've emailed numerous times so I can make payment for invoices going back to march. . !!!!
All I want is for enterprise to match my last payment correctly as per the remittance I have sent to three different employees at the firm. Ive emailed so many times chasing them up. They dont seem bothered to get paid. Which is fine by me !!

Great service, they really go a nice and beyond to help you. The car was in great condition and the price was very reasonable. I used them via the AA which may effect this. But all the same I will definitely use them again

Beware booking a car if you are from overseas and don't have a credit card!!!!! Booked a car on the phone via the central booking line. Dealt with a very helpful man on the phone. Asked where I was from and I replied New Zealand. Also asked if I had a credit or debit card, which I replied just a debit card. Arranged to collect the car the next morning from the Lincoln office. Turned up and the staff were very friendly and told us they had upgraded us. However when we couldn't supply a credit card the rental couldn't go ahead. Would have been great to have been told that when we booked instead if wasting our time.

Between the management skills of Calum who stayed back after work so I could collect the car, remaining polite and professional and courteous, to the understanding and welcoming I received from Anais, who also stayed behind because I was late returning the car, these guys aim to please. For customer service they deserve one hundred stars.

Picked up a courtesy car for a couple of weeks, very helpful and friendly staff on pick up and return... and great car.. highly recommed them
