Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Cheltenham Central

Dealt with Enterprise Cheltenham as they supplied my hire car while mine was being repaired. From start to finish, they have been fantastic. The car they gave me was excellent and I wish i could keep it. Offered them a swap but, alas, no deal. What impresses me most of all is the extremely efficient and professional staff. I have dealt with four different people over the phone and face to face and they have all been brilliant. I have been kept up to date every step of the way and I would highly recommend. I'd be happy to use them again. Great work Enterprise.

We had an amazing experience at Enterprise car and van hire on Tewkesbury Road. Tyler was efficient, friendly and ensured we were on the road in no time. Upon return, Olly helped us out with a big smile on his face. He was friendly and genuinely interested in how our trip was with the returning of the vehicle being very smooth. My full deposit was returned within 2 days. I’d fully recommend!

We hired a car for about four days. We'd paid for a mini but we were surprisingly upgraded to an i20 :) Friendly and helpful staff. No issues with the deposit refund either. Prices on the higher side, but had no issues with the car.

We had a really Bad experience with them. We booked the car , got a confirmation message and almost reached their location to collect the car. Only when we called them to get the exact directions to reach their office they informed us that the booking was cancelled. We tried to check with them multiple times that we would be in soup if we did not get a car as we weren't able to find any other car rentals in the area as well. But they ditched us at the last moment. Later we took a taxi all the way to Gloucester to hire a car rental from there. Please note that this is complete unprofessional behaviour and as tourists it becomes highly inconvenient to find last moment car rentals or hotel reservations if such circumstances come through.

Hired a van, drove it without incident, returned it with £5 more fuel than I took it. The young man walked around the van upon my return, focussed in on a tiny mark on the tyre (that you would never have noticed if you wasnt specifically looking for it) and said they would hold my £200 deposit and return to me minus cost of new tyre. I argued my case, I hadn't had any incident, had not hit a curb. The guy that showed me round the van at the start made absolutely no reference to checking the tyres before I hired it. Absolute chancers. Gladly I have a temper and stood up for myself, eventually seeing a manager who told the guy to give me my deposit back. Unfortunately, there will be people out there who will not have the confidence to stand up for themselves like I did, and get cheated out of money. So if I were to sum up Enterprise in one word, i think 'Scum' would be the word of choice.

Awful, just awful and for the 2nd time!!

They did this to me once before and you think I would have learned.
I booked the car at 10:30 this morning, for collection this afternoon.
I paid IN ADVANCE because I needed to guarantee I had the vehicle.
4 hours later they call to say the vehicle I had booked has been returned damaged and they have nothing else that I can hire.
Hmmm, could be true but this is now the second time I've booked last minute (emergency) and the vehicle is not available.
Are they allowing their stock to be overbooked (as happens with airline seats)?

Whatever the reason, it's immaterial, bottom line is they are unreliable and there's a fair chance they'll leave you in the s***.

Think twice unless you want to arrive at the airport and there's no vehicle for you!

Luckily one of their competitors has been able to save the situation.
