I couldn’t be happier with the service. The car was in prestine condition. The pickup and dropoff were hassle free and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Also I got the refund for the deposit in just 2 days. This is my new favourite car rental agency.

Enterprise, Alamo and National are together here. Friendly people. Got almost brand new car, did not try to oversell their own insurance options. They have a limit to how much damage is acceptable, so will not simply claim damaged and charge the excess. Overall very nice experience, would definitely recommend and use them again.

Great service. Having been delayed on my flight in I was in a desperate hurry to be on my way to Whitstable to see my niece perform in a flashmob. All the staff were really helpful and charming and a huge improvement on my recent experiences of UK airport car hire. Thanks to them I made it to Whitstable with about 10 minutes to spare.....So thank you!

I had an extremely bad experience with alamo (london stansted). I filled the tank up 2 miles from the dropoff (nearest gasstation) and delivered the car. The guy (nick) was busy with other cars, so he told me just to go. 2 hours later I got an e-mail which said the tank was only 7/8 full, and that they have filled it up with as much as 1,56 litres. For that I was charged £14,98.. The thing that happened was that nick didnt realise that a vauxhall insignia dosent show a full tank in the display, but because he went there and didnt want to get embarresed he filled with as much as 1,56 litres.. These guys will charge you for something no matter what.
They didnt even respond to my mail.. Never again will I use this company!

I wouldn’t believe this if it hadn’t happened to me. I booked a vehicle with Alamo through Expedia and Mr A. greeted me. He was friendly and offered me “an upgrade”. During usual selling talks (do you want satnav, excess insurance, etc.) he said that the car had no damage, though I could CLEARLY see him erasing all the damages reported on his terminal screen. As he showed me the vehicle around, it, obviously, had large scratches on the alloys, but he was swearing that these were NOT chargeable, that only damages on tyres were. It was until I found one bulge on one of the tyres was that he decided to change me to another vehicle. This time with no damages.

My complaint isn’t about renting scratched vehicles, I honestly don’t mind as long as the car is safe; what you need to be aware is of the scams that are going around these rental car companies. Never trust any of them. I thought that renting through Alamo/Enterprise would guarantee a good experience but it does NOT. Beware of all of the scams, these companies really should stop trying to extort customers and start to deliver a smooth rental experience.

Took the full insurance so no faffing about with inspections and picky examinations of every microscopic mark in the paintwork. Which is good because their excess is GBP1500. Car was a Vauxhall Crossland - I had booked "Ford Focus or similar". I don't see the similarity personally, but hey ho. Nice guy at the desk, easy collection/drop off process.
