Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Bury St Edmunds

After having a accident in Great Yarmouth in December the Gt Yarmouth branch offered me a wonderful car and were more than happy to help with any problems I had, they were also super helpful when asking about returning it when I was back home in Bury st edmunds.

After such a wonderful experience at the Gt Yarmouth branch and a lovely phone call from Alex from Gt Yarmouth, I was sadly disappointed at the lack of professionalism from the Bury store, I never got the gents name but as I walked in he looked at me as if I was a piece of dirt on his shoe and when I explained I was leaving the key with them for them to collect the car when it’s convenient for them, he found it hard to understand and spoke to me quite rudely. Maybe it was because I was disturbing him from eating his Burger King but still at least smile when talking to customers, isn’t that the first thing you learn about customer service.

Worst rental company i've ever used. Through Porsche assistance i was due a premium car following a breakdown. They could only offer a Ford Focus as had no stock. Failed to call me back on multiple occasions (their after hours service failed to call me over a period of 4 hours despite 3 calls from Porsche Assistance assuring me i would get a call in 20 minutes). Now without a car for 3 days (admittedly one day i was unable to attend the office to collect). Rep in the office constantly referred to me as 'mate' every other sentence. Would not deliver....too busy. PA advised they would send a taxi to pick me up...this was not offered. On arriving at their office i provided my driving license and credit card. They then asked for an additional mobile number. I only have one mobile (like most people) and was not willing to give somebody else's on privacy grounds. Was then abruptly told by the manager they would not rent me a car. Bearing in mind 1) this was authorised through Porsche Assistance. 2) they had my driving license 3) they had my credit card. 4) they had MY mobile number. Manager told me he we are trusting me with a £25,000 car! Shocking experience. Avoid this company at all costs. Plenty of reputable hire company's to choose from. I welcome a call from Enterprise customer services (but won't be holding my breathe).

Excellent service, great team and very efficient. Will use again and very happy with this place, absolutely top notch. Rented a big van here and will use this place again for future needs.

If you need to hire a car, this is the place. I was picked up from station, big bonus ! When I wanted to return the car I was driven back to station. Staff very friendly and professional.

Hired a vehicle for two days off of them. Vehicle was spotlessly clean and in A1 condition. Pricing was very good for the area. Their biggest plus was their extremely friendly go the extra mile customer service! Well done guys, thank you so much!

Great staff lost there names I'd written down but young lady and young guy went out of there way for me on few different occasions picked me up and dropped me off got me a car with late notice highly recommend 10/10 👍👍👍

Great service. Booking online was easy and collection and return was really fast. The guys in branch were excellent 👍

Good experience rented a pick-up (F150), booked the wrong one without towing easily switched me to a towable version. Negative thing is the hook you have to arrange yourself but as a foreigner meaning buying one and then throw it away at the return. But as I returned it with the car, the guy helping me out Matt gave me a small discount in return for the Hook. Would rent here again if I am nearby, also great location vs. the airport.
