Kendall Cars Ltd - Chertsey

I hired a Transit Crew Van from mid May '22' for 4 weeks, so that I could fit my family of 6 and luggage, whilst visiting family in the UK.
We flew from Australia and arranged for our vehicle to be dropped off at Heathrow T5.
There was a little mix up with times, which Matt in the office more than made up for.
We were met by Sue who was very friendly as were the staff we met at the Chertsey office. I'm very happy with Kendall self drive !!

Don't be fooled by these lot. Hired many vans off them. Once they took money out of my card for a van not even hired by us. Had to chase them so many times and get money back. Then they charged £60 for a fraction of a tank that went back under. Staff are extremely rude and they bsn u for writing reviews!!! Well u can ban me as much as you like. Customers should know why people don't complain as u ban! Disgusting company, won't take any faults as feed back. Vans fuel gages are faulty then charge us. Most of the times u get the vans on empty so when you give the van back it has much more fuel. Thanks for being very rude we found another van hire much cheaper and cleaner vans.

I recently hired a Van from here.
I phoned them first and a lady I spoke to was polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. I didn’t hesitate to make a booking for a weekend hire. The prices are affordable too.

On arrival, I met the staff who were very welcoming and extremely professional, I was asked to complete various bits of paperwork and certain checks were carried out to verify my credentials, it was all very smooth and at ease.

I was then escorted to my van by a gentleman who demonstrated to me various functions of the vehicle and made me feel very comfortable with it before I drove away.
The Van was in excellent condition and drove like new. I drove it with care and respect it deserves. I returned the van on the agreed time.

I was told the deposit I had paid for security would be returned to me within the next 4/5 days. I was happy the deposit was in my account just 2 days later.

I did do some research before calling Kendall’s and found other competitors did not meet the standard Kendall’s demonstrated.
So look no further if you’re wanting to hire a Vehicle.

I will be recommending Kendall Cars to anyone and everyone.

We hired “prestige vehicle” unfortunately the vehicle didn’t feel prestige as it should be, steering wheel stiff as hell, warning signs keep showing up, No safety kit in the car, Service provided by breakdown cover was extremely POOR! Never will hire here again, never will recommend this place.

Really friendly staff, fast pick-up and easy drop off of a 14 seat mini bus. An excellent price compared to some other places, could have paid 3 times as much, but wouldn't have even bothered if it wasn't for Kendall. Deposit is back a few days later, with no hassle. I wouldn't even look elsewhere next time.

Friendly service, correct and precise handover of the cars. This was the first time I hired a luton van from them, but I will return to them if I need any car in future. Very good price value ratio of Luton vans, I can only recommend them. You can return the car at any time our of normal working hours what is a great help.

I would highly recommend Kendal Car and Van hire. Prices are affordable, the staff are friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The hire car was clean and perfect for what I needed. I had to extend the time I hired the car and it was no bother and the staff were keen to help.

I am very grateful for all the help and assistance and would definitely use this company again.

Marcus and Maisie at the Chertsey branch of Kendall van hire was very helpful and explain everything in plain black and white so there was no hidden nasty surprises at the end of the rental.
I Able to drop my hire van back out of hours as well as leave my own vehicle on site to collect at the end of my rental this was a great help.
Has the most annoying thing about renting a vehicle is haven't get a lift there and back.
Van was clean new and tidy with very little damage unlike most rental vans.
