Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Wolverhampton North

Me and missus hired a van (23 March) for ten days to carry some household down to Spain.
It was to be a Luton box type.
When we picked it up,bit was a Ford make.(we are not Ford fans)
There was a Mercedes variation, but we didn't get that.
Can't say that would have been better, but the Ford was very thirsty, and we found it required "Adblue".
That said the Enterprise staff was very accommodating when we returned the van, hence the four star.This was because there were no fuel at the petrol stations to refill.

We researched another four companies for service, price etc, and found Enterprise to be the most accommodating in both these areas as some others were charging double.

As an example £800 + 200 dep + 150 green paper to drive on the continent and full tank.
Yes the daily amount at £25 is steep for your insurance excess, but it's typical, and can be reduced to a lot less if you shop around with companies that offer that specific insurance.
You can get an even better deal with your Costco membership.

I have used other hire companies in the past, but will consider Enterprise first from now on.

Dealt with quickly and professionaly both on arrival and returning of vehicle, was advised to take extra cover on windscreen and tyres, glad i did as unknowingly collected a nail on my travels, thanks guys, ask for Saki he,l look after you.

Fantastic company picked me up and sorted car within 10 minutes had the car a week and was at work when I had to drop car back but was no issue to come pick the car up, Dee was lovely and friendly all round happy with my hire company and personal experience. Will definitely use again. Thanks 😊

Was provided a hire vehicle from Enterprise Wolverhampton very recently, for a few days whilst my vehicle was being repaired. One of their compliments is in order to pick you up/ drop off the vehicle. On the first day, I was advised to walk to the branch after having dropped off my vehicle approximately 2/3 miles away as they only had two members of staff in.

I was then pushed into a sale of their "excess" policy which is of £7 per day, but charged at 10 days from the off due to their "excess of £600" per incident. I was informed that even if the tyre was to go, or there was a chip in the window, whilst it was economical or common sense to repair or replace the tyre, they would have to charge/ cost of £600 per excess per incident.

I was given a very poor (extensively scratched vehicle) from the outside and extremely poor economically on fuel. Cost me approximately £50 for fuel for 120 odd miles.

I was then questioned in relation to why their feedback was "okay" and not "excellent" once the vehicle was returned. I had spoken to "Alex" the "manager" who informed me that he didn't understand as to why I would request consideration of a refund of my excess (I had it for 5 days in total) due to the excessive amount of fuel that the vehicle took (in comparison to my own vehicle). Extremely poor customer service provided by the 'manager'.

I would NOT recommend this branch.
I would NOT recommend Enterprise (unless you wish to pay the excessive excess).
I would NOT recommend my insurance company or any repair groups to consider Enterprise.

They fail the friends and family test.

Had a really good experience. Was hoping for a different car to the one I already drive that had a bigger boot, which in my opinion I didn't get, but the experience from check in to check out was smooth and everyone I encountered were as helpful as they could be.

Both an awful and good experience of enterprise. I booked a van the night before to pick up at 12pm. Unfortunately the website doesn't say if a van is unavailable or not and just allows you to pay. For this reason it is awful and we were left without a van. I website issue and company issue....not a branch issue. The people at the branch were brilliant. They tried everything to sort a van out and worked really hard. Even when I was annoyed they were professional and I take my hat off to them. Used another company in the end but would use this branch in the future...just not book online!!!
