Hertz - Exeter - Marsh Barton Trading Estate

Easy to book through rental website and no hassle pick up/drop off routine with lovely friendly staff. Only one negative that £21.75 taken from my account after return apparently for fuel which is strange as we had filled up 10 mins before the car was returned and repeatedly tried to get more fuel in.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Our car broke down on the motorway on the way from Cornwall to dropping our son off at university in the south east. Managed to get to Exeter and tried 6 car hire companies but no one could help. Going by train was impossible due to the amount of stuff we had. Hertz found us a car and were understanding about all the petrol stations being closed when we returned it on the day of the Queen’s funeral. Thank you for making sure that our son’s important day was not ruined and for turning problems into solutions. Thank you to the staff and the manager.

Do not use. Gave us a massive van when we ordered small then tried to charge us £400 for fuel when we returned massive van with a full tank. Sharks

absolutely shocking !! do not use! we were meant to pick up a car at 12pm and got there on time and no one was there only other angry customers, apparently they went to do a delivery and all workers left as well. after waiting for 45mins someone did show up eventually and told us that car had been cancelled we asked why and they just said ‘dunno’ and carried on doing other things !! incredibly rude staff and even commented on my appearance rudely and unnecessarily. miserable and unprofessional and didn’t even receive an apology, not to mention we had travelled over 2hrs to get there to be turned away and struggled for weeks to get a refund ! absolutely awful service

After being let down twice by other companies (after making a booking)
This place was phenomenal. Nordi was excellent and ensured that there was a vehicle there ready to collect with just 2 days prior notice.

Can't recommend this place enough! The car was amazing (much higher spec than I paid for) and the guys were so friendly, could have stayed for the day! They even made sure I got to the station in time for my train! Dominic, if you're reading this, I passed it on big style!
