Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Ayr

Excellent customer service. They try to give you all the information and the ideas if you're in Ayr. A good deal too while hiring a car compared to other car hire companies. If you're travelling overseas, make sure you get a credit/debit card under your name as they do not accept cash and has to be booked through cards only.

Rented a car from Enterprise many times but never from Ayr. Got to say this site has the same great customer service as the other sites I have previously used.
Everything was explained and quick and easy pickup and drop-off. Can't fault this place at all.

Manager and Staff at the branch all friendly and polite on arrival.

It was new staff member Alyse who was  processing my hire and she did very well with a technical problem to get me out quickly. She did explain what the issue was and avoided any frustration

I did have a delay in returning the vehicle, however the Branch team managed to reorganise other bookings on a busy day to accommodate my request for additional hire period. Much appreciated.

Would certainly recommend and wouldn't hesitate in booking again.

Such nice straightforward service, including help on tyres, etc. Going the extra kilometre, as might be said.

Don't not rent a car from these money grabbers.

Problem number 1
I received a dirty car! which made it almost impossible to determine if this car had scratches or any dents.
The process was rushed and not very well explained

Problem 2 being felt forced to pay £7 a day despite this car being paid for by my insurance company. The reason I felt forced was due to being told if someone crashes into me I'm gonna have to pay my excess.... Even if it isn't my fault. My excess being £550 I felt like I had no choice.

After being crashed into only a few weeks earlier I really felt like I had no choice. Baring in mind I really shouldn't be paying any excess if the crash is not my fault.

Fault 3 after taking the car back to the place of collection (this car had barely been driven).
I put £15 of fuel back in the car and drove it back to the place of collection. By the time I had got the car to the place of collection. It was about £3 or £4 worth of fuel under max. But enterprise Ayr have charged me £21.51

They did not contact me in anyway to ask about the refueling cost. Which goes against my customer rights

Had to pick up a curtesy car & the service was excellent. A comprehensive explanation of the curtesy vehicle & all questions answered. Received a suitable vehicle full tank & after thorough inspection was happy with it and drove it away.

I don’t understand how a company this size can constantly get things so wrong particularly at this branch, they advertise as the company who will pick you up however, when this is requested they never have availability and you ask for a car to be ready for a specific time having driven all day to get to them and they can’t even manage that! Come on enterprise you really need to do better!!
