I recently had the mis- fortune of planning my husbands funeral right in the beginning of Covid-19. Francis Chappell and in particular Julie Maskall was amazing. Julie made this process extremely easy to get through, she has a very calm and relaxing demeanor which really helped as i was an emotional mess at the time. I would definitely without a shadow of a doubt recommend Francis Chappell to plan your loved ones last Goodbye ceremony. All the staff are extremely respectful and caring.

Julie was absolutely amazing and attentive to our needs. From helping with the funeral plan, to our personal requests, Julie was always able to help especially during on the day my grandmother passed away.

Costs were reasonable for what we wanted and everything was explained clearly. As you could imagine it was a delicate and sensitive time, Julie was always a phone call away. She was very professional and absolutely high praises for her service. Also a huge thank you to Nigel who helped us through the funeral from the branch to Honor Oak Crematorium.

I cannot rate the services of Francis Chappell East street highly enough. I recently met with Julie to arranged a funeral for a elderly gentlemen’s wife who sadly passed away in January. I had not arranged a funeral before for anyone and found the thought of doing so quite daunting, but with the help of Julie and her professionalism towards her clients needs, I was able with her help to arrange from start to finish the perfect send off for a lovely lady. Nothing was too much trouble and I was kept informed every step of the way that everything was perfectly in place. The before and after service I received was 100%
